Challenge Title: Make Time
Hostess: JulieHRR a.k.a. Julie Ebersole
Keyword: HYCCT28
Date: Thursday, October 28, 2010
Having had girlfriends and family members afflicted with breast cancer has made me realize just how important it is, in the rush and scurry of every day, to stop and MAKE TIMEfor the beloved women in my life: Girlfriends, sisters, mothers. I don't know where I'd be without them.
My challenge to you is to create a card, inviting one or even a group of the special women in your life, to spend time--gather, hang out, go shoe shopping, whatever-- together, and have the imagery and sentiment "play" off each other, as they do in the example I have created. ;)

Yikes - the first part is OK, the bit about having the image and sentiment play off each other is going to require some thought - and the PC, I am pretty sure. I don't really do sentiments. I think I know the image, just need to get to grips with the *challenging* part.
Thanks, Julie .
Thanks Julie...I haven't seen you in the gallery for awhile, great to see you. I'll think about what to do while I'm at the office, I wish I could take the day off too.
Phew, I remembered some sentiment stamps and jigged my image to fit. Tea for Two
I'm no shopper - tea (or coffee) in a really nice coffee shop is a way I like to meet up with friends.
I'm thinking this one just may stump me - it may mean a trip to the stamp store. Dug through my stash and I'm not sure if this card is exactly what you had in mind but...
Inside you could write something like "lets get together for coffee and catch up" or something like that! It's the best I could do with what I have so I'm hoping it will be ok!

We got a puppy last Christmas, and my daughter got married this summer; things got kinda *craaa-aa-aazy* and I didn't get much creative-just-for-fun time over the last year. Who knew?! *chuckle*
