Good morning fellow crafters! I'm filling in for Julia today who hasn't been feeling very well over the past few weeks, so please keep our gal in your prayers.
Today's challenge is ways to use fabric on your project. There are many types of fabric just lying around your house and in your craft room of ribbon, felt, velvet, bandages, cotton, and yarn.
Are you ready to play? Please remember to put WT293 in the keyword section and post a link back here with your project. We all want to see what you've created today. Please link only newly uploaded creations for this challenge. We want to get you crafting and creating something fresh!
I'm sure we'd all love to see some scrapbook pages created using fabric too, so please feel free to play along as our challenges are for all paper crafters.
Thank you so much for playing along in this challenge today and I hope that you enjoy it! Have a great day!
Thanks, Cindy, for a fun challenge!....and filling in for Julia. Your challenge made me get out some of the felt I have been collecting and doing nothing with!
Julia - feel better soon! Thanks for filling in, Cindy. I am all over this one.
Only I'm not sure when I can get to it. I am teaching two classes today.
Sounds like a super fun challenge, Cindy! Thanks for filing in for Julia today. I will keep her in my prayers. Hope you are feeling better soon, Julia!!!

I had to really search to find some fabric. I hadn't sewn is so long that when I moved, I gave all my fabric away! I thought of the fabric flowers in the Pretties kit. Not much fabric on this card but enough I hope.
I love using fabric as accents to my cards!
I just had to use this Starbuck's coffee cup image, paired with a corrugated coffee sleeve, for a card. I added ribbon and fabric for the clothing, scarf, and cap- (WT293 Challenge: use fabric) -finished with a red mini pompom. I added silver ribbon, as I always love how the snow can glisten and sparkle. I finished with double blossom DCs- the top one stamped with Michael's Stores Joy stamp Here's my card: Skating Joy by Crafty Julia - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
