I was thinking that I might whip up some food and freeze it next weekend. That way I have some better stuff to eat and yet I don't have to cook every night. I'm going to try out some of my regular dishes and see how they freeze.
Years ago I had a co-worker that spent the better part of Sunday cooking and putting things away to freeze for the upcoming week.
She had twin girls and worked full time. By the time she got home it was just too late to whip something "good" up.
Worked for her but the idea of spending a weekend day cooking has never appealed to me.
