WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY AND CHALLENGE #109
TWINKLE, TWINKLE, LITTLE PARROT
LET'S HAVE CAKE AND NOT A CARROT!
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you!
Before I get started with the story, I have a request. From time to time I like to communicate with the teapotters (aka ~ anyone who plays in a Teapot Tuesday Challenge). You never know when I might have some important teapotter announcements. This is my story!
1. What do you think of this teapot?? That's one fancy schmancy, beautifully colored little parrot hanging in his rain forest, kicking back, and enjoying the scenery! We are going a little fancier in the bird department this week, from the likes of JJ's chickens who run like the dickens to fancy ole parrots who dream about carrots!
2. Starlet O'Carrot is a beautiful, petite, colorful and fun loving little St. Lucia parrot who lives with an amazing, fun loving woman in Philadelphia by the name of Ms. Eula. It's quite fitting that Ms. Eula would own a colorful parrot because she lives her life in a very colorful way! Starlet has asked our help in planning some sort of surprise affair. Our only problem is we don't know what we are planning! Starlet is a little obsessed with the whole, it's a secret, it's a surprise, don't tell anyone, thing! We are not sure what we are planning, where we are going, or who we are suprising. At this point, we only know three things. Starlet O'Carrot is colorful, Starlet O'Carrot is addicted to carrots, and Starlet O'Carrot is not talking much about what we are here to plan!
3. Enter BeauFer, The Chauffeur, the love of Starlet's life! Beaufer is an amazing parrot coming from a long line of very intelligent and hard-working St. Lucia parrots. His real name is Beauregard Ferdinand Charles Chauffeurfield, the III. Now Starlet is not quite as accomplished as Beaufer and has never been able to squawk his full name so she lovingly refers to him simply as Beaufer. They met in the rain forest in St. Lucia and when Ms. Eula was looking for a Chauffeur, of course Starlet called upon the love of her life, Beaufer, The Chauffer. He flew to Philidelphia and loves Driving Ms. Eula! She has taught him so much and has always been more than just an employer. And he loves living in Philly with his colorful Starlet!!
4. Luckily while we were all piling into Beaufer's limousine, Startlet blurted out:
Squawk! Don't be late!
She's 108! She's 108!
Don't be late!
And as if to answer the love of his life, Beaufer blurted out:
Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Parrot,
Let's have cake and not a Carrot.
Way up high, above rain forest,
Don't forget to call the florist!
Well, that was pretty much all we needed to know. Its obvious we are planning the 108th birthday party of Ms. Eula! We are headed to a rain forest, to plan, carry out, and attend the 108th the very colorful surprise birthday party for the very colorful Ms. Eula. And since Starlet and Beaufer are from St. Lucia that's gotta be where we are going! All of the sudden with a little help from our squawking and very colorful friends, the surprise is now known, so let's get to it! A teaparty in a limousine on the way to St. Lucia by way of Philiadelpia, PA with a couple of colorful parrots who by the way are in love! We have a destination, maybe a 42,000 mile one!
What should we all bring? Think Colorful! Think Birthday! Think Rain Forest! Think colorful! Think flowers! Think Coloful! Think cake, candles, and balloons! Think Colorful! Think Presents! Think colorful! Think 108 years of Miss Eula! Think Colorful!

Oh and if you bring carrots, you have to come in the backdoor because Scarlet O'Carrot gets very distracted by carrots and she navigating our journey while we teaparty and plan! Yikes!
TEAPOT TUESDAY #109 DESTINATION STATION:
This week our destination is a Philadelphia, PA. We are sending birthday cards to celebrate 108 years of the life of Mrs. Eula Cousins who is an amazing woman! She was brought to my attention by Lorraine
(Pidgesmom). Lorraine has a friend who met Mrs. Eula Cousins, has become great friends and is excited about September 14th, the day Eula turns 108. Lorraine immediately thought about the teapotters and how we can participate in this amazing real life event by doing what we do, sending wonderful, colorful birthday cards to a wonderful, colorful person on her 108 birthday!
