WT282-STICK IT!!! (8/5/2010)
Hi! Julia is off this week, and I'm filling in as Guest Hostess for the Ways To Use It Challenge: Stick It!
Stick it??? Well, let's stretch this to the use of pins or STICKs...
Here are some suggestions:
Piercing
Use of pins, hat pins etc. as embellishments
Use of an image that is a STICK, limb or etc.
Sewing pins or needles or sewing images
Sewing directly onto a card
Use your imagination!
My Sample
WT282 GALLERY
Please remember to put WT282 in your keywords section and post a link back here. We'd all love to see your work! Please link only newly uploaded creations for this challenge. We want to get you thinking and creating and having fun.
Thanks for playing along!

I loved your card! It was beautiful!
This sounds like a great challenge. I have a question: Do you mean that sewing on the card would count! I haven't ever done that, but might try it.
Thank you,
Sharon

Yes, sure! The needle would STICK the card to make a hole! GREAT idea! I'll add it to the suggestions!

Here is my first atttempt at sewing a card! I even had to get my sewing machine fixed last week, so I could try this! Also I used a new image (which I don't know who it is by)
that I received in a swap-just today! I didn't have any images like this to color with copics, and I am just getting into them. My title is crazy, because it is the keywords in the wrong place. LOL But I will edit after I find out if anyone can tell me what the image is. Here is mine.
Thank you for the challenge Faith!

Faith, thanks for filling in. I stuck to the task and made my card, I stuck things to the cardstock, then used part of a tree that has sticks(branches), I stuck my paper with my paper piercer, and stuck a brad into the paper as well. That's a lot of sticking for this card. LOL
Here's my card and I'm off to bed. It's obvious I need it!

I nearly wasn't going to check the thread yet, and then I remembered that with deputy hostesses it might be earlier than usual. Time to break out a new stamp - thanks for the perfect challenge, Faith!

It's very quiet here this morning!
Here's my Get Well Chick with his walking stick.
Now I've got to tidy my desk, my regular black ink pad is MIA.

SWEET action
Thanks Faith for an easy peasy challenge. I am addicted to sewing on my cards, so it was really easy.
In fact I still had two video tutorial samples sitting here that I hadn't put into the gallery. Here are my first two entries.
Beautiful Day Triangle Treat Box
Flower Girl
I will work on a "new" one in a little bit.
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs and smiles

Oh, can't wait to play with this one. I think I might want to try the sewing on a card, too. Never been comfortable with that, so I'd like to give it a shot ..... wonder what else I can 'stick' on this card ....

Great challenge, Faith! I had a terrible time resizing my photo to upload. Never had a photo so small - anyone else have a problem?
Thank You
