For me, the best part of doing the VLV challenges is that it helps me work ahead for Christmas. I make most of the VLV cards with my MIL in mind. She is sooooo hard to buy for as there really isn't much of anything that she needs. However, she did mention that she uses a lot of birthday cards and (unfortunately) a growing number of sympathy cards. So, if you see me making more sympathy cards, that's why! She'll be getting another box of cards this year as a part of her present.
