When I was in elementary school, we lived on a MOUNTAIN top. It was glorious! During the summers, my sister Hope and I would sneak down to the pond about half way down the mountain and swim in the murky water. Our dog would jump in and bark and carry on right along with us, scaring up the creatures in the woods that surrounded that pond.
Some days, we'd see deer, beavers, eagles, hawks, rabbits, foxes, and once, a cougar. That day, we decided that our dog would ALWAYS tag along with us! LOL
Those days were some of the best in my life. And, to celebrate those days, my challenge to you is to create a card that depicts NATURE in the land that YOU love. It could be trees, bugs, animals, anything NATURAL.

Summertime in the land that I love
It is summertime and the flowers are blooming. Beautiful flowers of every color and variety. Their fragrance can be smelled in the air and their beauty brings such sweet moments to our lives. There is nothing like flowers growing around your home whether you planted them or they are just wild flowers. You can brighten up any corner of your home by clipping a few and putting them in a vase and displaying them in a prominent place for all to see.
My challenge for this theme is to make a card inspired by flowers. Here is a helpful link to names and pictures of all the state flowers in the map above. Those of you who live in other countries can show us your flowers as well. Don't worry if you don't have a flower stamp, use your punches and die cuts and make some flowers. So whether it is your state flower, your country or district flower, or just a flower that you love from anywhere, let's see those Summertime Flowers from the Land that I love!

I associate summer with so many outdoor activities. One of my favorites growing up and as a teenager was going to the Drive-In Movie.
Sure, I am probably showing my age here but, if you have never experienced going, then try and find one near you and go! You can find information about Drive-In's HERE and HERE.
For my challenge I would like for you to incorporate any element of going to a Drive-In Movie into your card or project. Some ideas to give you a "jump start"...
