that is a tough question...since the color renovation and all. There is a great chart with copic comparisons to the SU colors in this thread Post #35. You could compare the colors to what is in the sets and see if that is the way you want to go.

I personally don't like the 72 A, B, C sets because they don't have enough of 3 color combos in them that you need for optimal blending.

I found that starting out, it may be more beneficial and cost effective to make your own custom set.... you can do that at Period Style and it will come with a case...or you can just order individually and log in create a profile on oozak.com for the lowest price.

I have some info on my blog to help with picking colors and getting started...here and here.... also check the copic certified instructors sites for their starter color recommendations too...
