This weeks SCS Inspiration Challenges comes from the wonderful vintage store Blue Carrot Shop. Alexandra describes herself as a Graphic Designer by trade and a treasure hunter by preference. She says she is very good at finding things ... neat things, old things, used things, unique things, well-loved things ... and has created a temporary gathering place for these wayward items at the Blue Carrot Shop ... until they find their way to a permanent home.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many choices, Ive uploaded three of my favorites so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. The rest of you, remember to let us know which product from Blue Carrot Shop that inspired you.
Use the keyword: IC240 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Wow! I love it Stef! Did you notice the definition of a blue carrot? Anything that is interesting, quirky, or unique! And this store certainly is! We will have fun with this one!

This wouldn't normally be my style, but I LOVED browsing the site and am off to create now. Did you see that old Dymo tape-writer! And the Rooster alarm clock - I could swear I had exactly that one.
What great stuff on that website. I recognized several of those items as having had them in my possession at one time or another. In fact, I intend to do another card based on something that I still have that is very similar to one of the items. But, in the meantime, here is my card.
I think I know what I want to do, however a cup of coffee will help it come together. Thanks Stef.

Another card from today's site! More inspiration than I thought at first! Lots of memories on the Blue Carrot site for me....does that tell you I'm OLD!!! : )
I really enjoyed looking through the site, until I realized they were calling it all vintage and I remembered we had some of that stuff in our home while I was growing up! :-)
Thanks for another fun challenge Steph! blessings, shelia
I loved the Blue Carrot Shop! I might even have purchased something, but everything I wanted was already sold! I was inspired by the bakeware with the housewife holding a pie! Here is my American Pie.
Thank you Stef for the fun time today! These saturday challenges are always so much fun!

Stef, you did it again; found another cool site for inspiration. I remember using some of that stuff as I was growing up.
Here's my card.
