Here we go! I must say I am sort of sneaking into the new colors a bit. I figure I would try to make everyone happy! LOL! Is that possible? Here's hoping! I wanted to start with returning favorites! To blend some in colors that were never in colors together. Two of the colors today are now part of the new color collections! Time for them to shine again, together! We welcome back rich razzleberry and say hello to a well missed baja breeze! Combining the two with so saffron for a truly decadent combination! YOU are going to be thrilled with the results of these!

This week's dessert option: GRIDS! Grids are HOT in designing! Whether you have grid dp, grid embossing, grid scoring, a grid technique, or actual grid paper, use it! Go GRIDS!
I got Cathy and Jenn to sample with me this week! Thanks a bunch, girls especially with the holiday weekend stateside!
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC278 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading click here!
I will be hosting the color challenges for the next few weeks. If there is a color combo you want to see using any of the new in colors, please pm me with the link to the card. Try to stay within three color choices. Thanks so much!
Here's mine........ooops I read it wrong..........I used marina mist not baja. Oh dear.....I'm disqualified my first card back from surgery. I'll try again later after a nap. LOL

So, having few supplies with me I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and bought a pack of paper hoping it would help. I didn't think I had the right colors when I first saw the CC last night, but when I woke up this morning, I looked through and I think the colors in this dp I used are close enough. What do you think?

I wasn't sure that I was going to like this combo when I first got started, but I just love how it turned out. Thanks, Betty, for a great set of challenge colors! Here's mine:
