SBVC128 - The Great Outdoors

During the summertime we tend to spend alot of time outdoors; ie camping, hiking, swimming or just enjoying the summer sun.

My challenge to you this week is to scrap those outdoor photos. I also want you to include some kind of embellishment that represents the activity.

On my Bugs layout I included a small twig.

For a water effect use some faux bubbles, like the ones on this layout.

Or if you are at the beach you could collect some sand or shells. This sample I have a bottle filled with sand from the Bahamas. On this layout I used a textured spray paint for a faux sand effect.

Hmmm, I seem to be getting behind on your last few challenges, but I plan on catching up, 'cause they're all great!

I have some remaining pics that need to be scrapped from a summer vacation my DIL and DGDs took a few years back, so this will be my motivator -- soon!!

I think we all are behind on scrapbooking. Take your time and scrap whatever you can when you can.

This challenge will be great for my DGS week at cub scout camp. DH took pics yesterday for me when it was his turn to take the boys for the day. DGS is having a wonderful time and on Friday is their final day with the campfire in the evening so hopefully some more pics!

Oooh, I had these great outdoor photos to scrap so this was perfect. I also watercolored some flowers to match the flowers in one of the photos! Thanks for the great challenge!
