Are you ready for another amazing color combo? This week I am using two retiring colors and one in color! These colors may present a bit of a challenge. Not a usual grouping of colors, but I really love how they look together. Interested to see what you all do with them.
Also, many of you have asked for a color reference point to go along with the names. I am using a photo of the cardstock colors this week. Let me know what you think. I know it is not high tech and fancy, but it definitely represents the colors. You can click on it to enlarge. Just want to add that SU colors are NOT required we just use these as a reference point. We want all who want to play to play. Just try to match your colors as closely as possible to the selection given!
CC276 Soft Appealing Amethyst
Soft Suede
Apricot Appeal
Almost Amethyst
Ivory or White
This week's dessert option: Clips, Fasteners, or Ties! Cool clips are a fun way to add color, dimension, and texture. Think stick pins, safety pins, staples, paperclips, or whatever you can think up.
Becky is sampling with me this week! Thanks so much, Becky!
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC276 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading click here!
I will be hosting the color challenges for the next few weeks. If there is a color combo you want to see using any of the new in colors, please pm me with the link to the card. Try to stay within three color choices. Thanks so much!

These are beautiful colors, Betty. I really enjoyed working with them. They seemed to have a quiet feeling to me. I always hope my substitutions are close to the mark. Thanks!
I love the color reference picture because it gives me an instant vision of what the card will look like. Great idea! Thanks for the pretty color combo this week.
just put all my retiring colors away and am doing a DEEP clean in my stamping studio...Easy access to amethyst and apricot, thanks for the push to use 'em up!

What a great challenge for me right after vacation. Bring on the purple. Thank goodness it was Amethyst and not Lilac. LOL
Thanks for a great challenge, Betty!
Thanks for the challenge. . .don't know if a button counts as a fastener--though I guess if you're missing one, you certainly appreciated its value in that regard! :-D
Combined mine with the Teapot Challenge and used My Digital Studio. . .this card can fly at the speed of the internet. . .love to send electronic greeting cards and/or post on friend's FB wall!
What a wonderful color combo! I've seen the first page of cards already and I believe that this is one of my favorite entire galleries for the color challenge! Looking forward to seeing more.
To everyone that posted in this gallery so far...
What Absolutely Wonderful Creations!!!

I have 2 cards to show today. I didn't like the first one and did another. Then I went back and finished the first one. I can't seem to make up my mind today!
I got excited to make a card with these colors and was almost horrified when I couldn't find them because my husband had nearly used it all up. After some thorough digging, I found enough.
