I thought about the sketch and decided to take a look at Andrea’s profile and she hasn’t been on in a week so I started scrambling to get this ready.
So if anyone wants to be a guest hostess for her or have a sketch in mind please let me know.
Everyone should really appreciate the time she puts into these challenges because this is work finding and getting the sketch ready, scanned and uploaded.
I had a hard time coming up with something from looking in the gallery on limited time, I had gone through all the sketches on file and everything looked similar and then I looked on my stamping table and right there sat the sketch for week 57. Well it was a toss up between two of them but this one looked like a way to use up some decorative paper if we need to and I do! But decorative paper is only an option!
Feel free to change the tag to any shape you like!
The layout attachment will print out to actual A2 (4.25 x 5.5) size of the card for most computers.
To print this layout: - (nc means no color) If you see a small layout click on it or if you see an icon click on the words next to it.
-When the black surround screen appears click only on the layout and a white screen with the layout should appear.
-Right click and click on print from the pop up box or hold down your shift key and P key at the same time.
-Now you're ready to choose print and it should print to actual size of the card depending on your computer.
How funny - I was just wondering about this week's sketch and if someone was going to do it so I came to check on it. Thanks Rox for stepping up. I know Andrea is going through so much right now. I had suggested previously that everyone RAK her. Her address is on the RAK list or people can PM me for it. She derserves a flood of cards!
Anna's card is a great inspiration for the sketch. Look forward to playing later this week.
You are APPRECIATED, Rox!!! Seriously. Thank you for the reminder about what's involved in these sketches for the person hostessing. Anna's card is wonderful - will get to this later today. Thank you, Rox.
This was such a fun challenge. I guess there's a benefit to being overseas... I already got to play 12:51 here in the afternoon. Anyway, loved being able to dust off the OLD patterned paper. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thanks for steppin up Rox, I really wanted to do a challenge today. I don't know if I followed the sketch close enough, but here are two cards, pending approval . . .

I can't wait to try this challenge. I'm feeling a need to stamp. Housework can wait, it will still be there, but stamping inspirations must be addressed immediately!!!

Thanks Rox, for stepping in & this looks like a fun sketch. Background papers make a card in a hurry! (And I have an original of SweetMissDaisy's card in my hands, too!) Off to make a copy... I mean stamp!
Oh, thanks for picking something that will utilize all this patterned scrapbooking paper I bought years ago when I tried to be a scrapbooker. I'm so glad I finally found my niche with stamping! Now to use up that old paper!
Question-- new to the challenges-- not sure how this one works. Are we to take the sketch and do a card based on the shapes in the sketch (i feel stupid asking).

Welcome!
You've got it right. Make your card based on the sketch, then upload to the gallery and post a link on this thread so everyone can see your wonderful creation!
