Keywords: SC282 No spaces between letters and numbers, put a comma followed by a space between keywords. The keywords are all you need to have your card show up in the challenge gallery, having it in the keyword line covers more searches. Posting to this thread is not mandatory to play! ***************************** What is the Sketch Challenge: in Andreas words from SC08 (Andrea is the founder of the challenge): "You take the sketch I provided and use any stamp set, any accessory, and any kind of paper to make a card. So all of the cards have the same basic layout, but they all look very different." -It is fine to flip the sketch, change panel sizes, shapes, card size and border as you wish (unless stated in the write up for the week), a little tweaking is fine but lets see those main elements of the posted layout please. (The numbers and colors are requested from players so it's easier to read the layout, it means nothing towards colors used or number of borders when creating your project.)
Master Thread Find email notification, uploading and linking directions, files and links of past challenges.
Here's a fun layout this week that will work great for those tall thin images and I know you'll come up with great ways to use that cross panel over the main image panel.
You can find measurements in my card description linked in post #2. Open the link and they will be at the top of the description. OR The attachment will print out to actual size of an A2 card for most computers. A2 is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.
Printing directions are in the Master Thread linked above.
Great layout Rox.. I'm going to print it out and work on it tomorrow night.. my hubby will be home from Iraq on Friday, so I'm not sure how much stamping I'll get done.. but I really like this layout.
thanks ~ Pam

Pam,
Thanks to your hubby from me and my family too, for his dedicated service to our country. We are all extremely indebted to our brave men and women in the military...and to their families who sacrifice so much.

Tonight's sketch has great possibilities, Roxie. I have a few things I HAVE to work on tonight but I'll try to squeeze this in. Thanks for bringing us great sketches each and every week. Hope you are enjoying that new baby granddaughter.
I really wanted to give this a try before bed tonight. Didn't want to get out lots of gizmos and gadgets, so the card is really simple. I also used today's Color Challenge - Bermuda Bay, Real Red, and Kraft (Creamy Caramel in my case since I'm out of Kraft).

Loved this layout, Roxie! There was a simplicity to it...in my mind, anyway...that really appealed to me. I have had this Asian-inspired scene that I have never inked and this seemed like a good match. Thanks!

Thanks for the challenge. I hope I will be able to go through the gallery - our Verizon signal for internet is so weak that it has taken an hour to upload the card - not sure if I have the patience for much else! SC282 A Memorial Day thank you by etsdas at Splitcoaststampers
