Welcome to Teapot Tuesday Challenge #97
It's only Darla with Dingle Bell Berry...

Okay... okay... so you got stuck with me this week... big deal..I am very excited about doing this... and super flattered that The Mother Mark asked me to do this... yikes... hopefully we are going to have some fun... and hopefully get a lot of pretty wonderful cards into this gallery today... You see this is really a very special time in all of our lives.. we need to reach out to each other and that includes everyone and everything... it is REALLY VERY IMPORTANT in all ways... so even if you have never ever done a challenge I do hope you will join in on this one...

You see... it is important for us all to feel the love of each other in as many ways as possible... and showing a card that you have made with your hands to send or give to some one is so very special... Not everyone will love it the way you have...but after all it is special.. and that is what counts...

That is why I have really made this 'challenge' so very easy for EVERYONE to create today .... as many cards as you can... and upload them for Darla... yes Darla the Dragonfly...

So with out any more ado...

Here is my story� and I am sticking to it� 100% �.

Darla the Dragonfly was so very lonely� and she wanted to see her more of the world she has been born into�. For a couple of reasons! Her little daughter had just come to live with her and she wanted to show her just how beautiful everything was� You see a dragonfly takes about 4 years to grow� and then only lives for about 6 months in a nice warm climate� so they don�t have too long to see all the pretty things in this world.. and Darla wanted to show Dingle Bell Berry just how pretty it was, prior to leaving this world herself�

Okay so here is the plan� Darla wants Dingle Bell Berry to see all the flowers, all the pretty plants all around. She also wants her to see all the different kinds of critters that are around, but she is afraid that some might try and go after the two of them� they have a lot of critters that like to eat dragonflies� so she wants to be careful, like butterflies and frogs� oh wow they are something else�

Anyway this is where the Tea Potters come into the picture�..Darla needs our help in bringing as many pretties so that she and her daughter can enjoy them� you can bring flowers, plants of all kinds, anything that is pretty� but please be careful about critters� just keep them under control if at all possible� and oh YES� they love sweets of all kinds� at least Darla and Dingle Bell Berry do� cakes, cookies, candies �. And the prettier they are decorated the better it is� She wants to see far off places, and places unheard of by all dragonflies� so really the sky is the limit�

There are over 42,000 reasons why they need to see all these pretty and wonderful things� so please make as many cards as you can to show them all these GREAT Things�

So do you get the picture� anything that is pretty and anything that will help them to see more of our BIG BEAUTIFUL world that we live in would be wonderful�
Now if you have to bring other bugs and frogs or critters that would eat them then �please come to the back door� as that could be a huge problem for them� unless they are smaller, most bugs will go after the dragonflies� which would really scare and maybe eat them..

See you at the Party� and please bring a nice picnic basket full of things for all of us to munch on and eat also� we all love that�don�t we??? See you at the Tea Party�

Sorry I am late, I was at a pity party for myself because a good friend had surgery on Tuesday and all I did was pace. I had my poem all written and ready to go early in the day. Sorry if it is a bit overly sappy. She went into surgery at 8:30 ... well actually at 10:30 by the time they got around to actually wheeling her in. She lives far far away and I was waiting by the phone to hear how she was doing. The dragonfly of happiness simply eluded me and my tea party was more of a pity party. But I pulled out my markers and the colors of the day and FINALLY got this card together. Somedays you need to really look to find any beauty in the world - I can sympathize with Darla. I kept trying to sit down and think that the world is beautiful, but on Tuesday despite the sunshine I was really feeling down, wondering why people get sick, what is the sense of cancer, and what is so great about getting old.
Ok I am pouring a bit of rain onto our beautiful teapot party and will stop whining and link my card without further ado ...

I am so late to the tea party that I almost feel like the white rabbit! I combined the Wednesday Tutorial of the stationery box with this week's challenge.

Any way here is my story:
Darla wanted to show her daughter the world - especially everything beautiful. Well they have been traveling since the beginning of the week and Darla needs to rest and write home. I caught her resting on the flower on the outside of the stationery box, so I opened it up for her so she could rest and write home (Inside here)
