My dad called yesterday and asked me to make a birthday card for my mom. I was looking at my stamp sets and realized that before this new catty came out I used to LOVE fresh flowers, and used it ALL the time. Since the new catty, I've been using all my new sets (All the Best, In Full Bloom...)and my older ones have been gathering dust...
So my challenge to you is this:
Which set did you once love, and have stopped using lately?
Dust it off and make a WOW card with it. When you are done post a message here with the link to your card so we can all get inspired.
This is a weekend project because sometimes you need to dust your brain off too in order to use an older set again :lol:
Love your card...I will see what I can come up with this weekend...hmmm I lent my sets to my mom but I am sure there are some I have not been using....hmmmm
I am so NOT up for this! I would be, had I not made close to 100 cards over the last 2 days--it's the last final push before I have to get my craft show cards in the mail to my upline for her craft fair! I'm not sure I'll want to see a stamp for a while. At least I was given free reign and stamped everything I've had in my mind for a while! I just hope they sell. I've made over 300 cards and still want to make 100-150 tags to send--deadline for myself is MONDAY!!! EEEK!

I have met the challenge but cannot post my pic - its part of one of Keagles mystery challange and I"m in the middle of that swap - lets just say I used an old fav in a Unique way!!! I'll let Keagle POst it if she wants it revealed!
I did the challenge and pulled out Beautiful Batik, which I was so excited about getting but never seem to actually use! I need more ideas for that set...anyway, I CASE'd your whole project, CreativeDiva. Yours is lovely!

Aww, thanks, Kate--I really need that! I'm done with the cards, just need to tackle the tags tomorrow. Guessing my sizzix will get a workout along with my arm, my stamps, my inks, etc! I'm having fun and enjoying it since we'll be gone for 12 days (flying to CA) and I can't take much of any of my stamping stuff with me--tho I am taking some to show to my SIL who's into CM--hoping to get some quarterly sales from her for SU! goodies!! :lol:
AmandaK--your card is great! That pocket card is something I have on my list of things to do after the first of the year

I had a similar thing happen the first of November for my own Mom's birthday! Like you, I dusted off an old fav I hadn't used since the new catty came out. Here it is:

Isn't it fun to remember sometimes about the older sets? Makes me feel less guilty for all the money I'm spending on all these sets knowing that I use them all...
