This week, and every week in the future we will be posting both a 12 X 12 AND 8-1/2 X 11 double page layout.
These are designed by Cindy and I. You will NOT find these sketches anywhere else!! How exciting is that?
You do not have to fill ALL empty spaces with photos, you can stamp, embellish or use your imagination and fill in the blanks! Just make sure you USE THE SKETCH we provide!! You must follow our sketches to be eligible to win the prize this week. If a double page layout is too much for you to do, we will still judge one page layouts that follow the sketch (just delete one page) If you have any questions post them in here and someone will help you. Be it Cindy or I, or someone that knows the answer.

Scan or take a photo of your work, upload with SBSC29 in the keywords AND title, and post it here for us all to see. Please be sure to type SBSC29 with NO SPACES. Be sure you use this in the keywords AND in your titles so we can search for judging!
Tip: If you like you can type what your journaling says in the notes section of your upload in your galley. Be sure to JOURNAL somewhere on your page.
Please remember there are no uploads on Sundays, as the wonderful ladies that approve uploads need a day off too!
O.k I'm the first one to see it and the image is not approved. :( I guess I can wait a few more hours. ;) DH is gone getting the car fixed and so I have been checking out the SBSC's and I gotta start joining. It looks too fun.

I received a question about the 8 1/2 X 11 sketch and thought I'd address it with everyone!
Q: Hey Amy, I have a question about the scrapbook challenge. I am gonna do the 8x11 and I was wondering, There are 6 places for journaling. Do I have to do journaling in all 6 places or can I do journaling in say 4 of them and then do embelishment in the other two? Just wondering. Thanks!

I have a tiny question for the future, is it ok to change the size, if I like the 8*11 layout, but wanto do it in 12*12 size? Love the new sketches, and will try to have one finally made! LOL

Yippee! I am so glad that I found this the other day! I have just finished this weeks 12 x 12 layout! I am so excited. Now on to upload and go on to the next one.
Thank you for this challenge...I have procrastinated on my son's first scrapbook for an entire year now. He will turn 1 on Monday and these are the first pages that I have done for him. Now...if I can do a challenge a week, I will catch up! Thanks for the great sketch! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Here is my 12 X 12 pages that I did from this sketch. I thought that is was going to be a tough one for me b/c I am very linear. The curves threw my off. I am glad to have these pics scrapped--they are not the best. THis was the perfect layout for them.

I just checked out these scrappin challenges for the first time. I'm fairly new to scrappin so I hope this is okay. Baah, it's only seven pm my time but showing my upload as Sunday! Pending hopefully til Monday for our splitcoast gals!

Yes you can totally change the sizes!! Just make sure you follow the fomat!! Have fun!!

I love this weeks sketches! I have a question... How free can we be with the layout. Can I use the exact layout but turn them on their sides? I have a great idea, but I need to rotate the sketch. Is this "allowed"?
I plan to do the challenge, I just have to get some cards and pages ready for THREE February shows I have this month, whoo whoo!
Demo for 1 1/2 year...really a hobby demo...then shows FALL in my lap this month...is that a calling that I should really turn hobby into a career?!

Here is my very first Sketch Challenge. I dug out moms box of pictures that she hasn't touched in a year and started scrapping! I look forward to doing many more!

I did the 81/2 x11 challenge for my vintage album. The colors are actually quite pale but scanned vibrant. These are following my pages of my grandfather at war which I did finish on time last week but are now link to last week's challenge if anyone cares to see.
I can't find my circle Colluzzle and have no circle punches so it was a bit more of a challenge to find something for the circles at the top! Guess it's time to go shopping.
Here are my pages - again part of the project I'm doing to make scrapbooks for both my niece and nephew.

I am so bummed...there is no way I'm going to be able to do the challenge this week. I took on too much for my evenings this week! Maybe next week I'll get a chance to particiapte!
I have mine all done except for the Title! I have the CM thing, but I have to figure it out plus come up with what I want the title to be. I hope tommorrow UI can get to it after work.
