MMTPT89, A TUESDAY TEAPOST FOR THE ONE WITH THE MOST!
Hi all! Just stopping by for a visit while da Muddermark is busy with some company this week! ;)
Have you ever noticed that number under your avatar? The one that notes how many posts or comments that you have made? Some people are just starting out in the 100's, some people are in the middle of the road at 5,000, and some are even over 10,000 and get to change from a "Glitter Guru" to a name of their choice!
But THEN there is Faith (Markie's Mom). OH MY GOSH...GET the CAFFEINE! She is closing in on 100,000 posts/comments!!!!!!! That's a whole lotta love on Splitcoast! She WOWS us with her gorgeous cards, has her own new stamp company "Mark's Finest Papers," and the COMMENTS, oh the comments she leaves all of us! You know we ALL love when that smiley blonde pops up in our gallery. So today we are throwing a party for Faith...a Tuesday TeaPOST for the one with the MOST!
So here's the story:
Faith has this little black cat named Speedy. Speedy gets into alot of trouble, and has Faith calling for the Tylenol on a daily basis! He dumps her bins of scrap paper, fiddles with her ribbons, and waltzes across her ink pads! Well Faith has had ENOUGH! She thinks that Speedy needs to go on a little vacation. Faith saw an ad in the Florida Gazette that Kittie Caracciolo was hosting a little "Learn to Cause a Scene" watercoloring session nearby. PERFECT, she thought, because Speedy can DEFINITELY do that! Here comes the surprise...once Speedy is out of the house, we can all head to Faith's kitchen for a little relaxation and some TEA.
This ain't no LARK, MARK! (Mark is Faith's husband, who is desperately trying to book a flight out for him and for Markie, because the thought of all of the teapotters and their weekly antics in the kitchen is making him a tad nervous). There is one teeny problem. Speedy is slacking on the packin'! There he sits among a pile of freshly folded laundry. Faith has told him "like 100,000 times" to get going or he'll miss the bus!
So we need LOTS of ideas to get Speedy on the move! Bring your best ideas to the party...or maybe a few snacks to tempt him...or how about showing him all of the fun he will have making scenes with Kittie?! Maybe you could show us the scene at Faith's house as she waits for Speedy to get packin'!! How about tempting Speedy with the promise of a Florida Feline Lady Friend or participating in the annual Florida Gator Wrestling Contest which happens to start on Tuesday! Bwahahaha! But I must say, if you bring a skeery dog, then you'll have to come in the back door!
See my sample entitled "Markie Saves the Day" HERE
I am in the 7Ks. Wow 100,000. So Faith is the hostess with the mostest, having us for tea. How lovely. And we get to honor her. Absolutely. Hmmmmm....Kell, gotta give this some thought but not so long the tea cools off. Hee. TTFN.
AND NOW A TEAPOT TUESDAY BIRTHDAY TOAST

This is so funny, because only the other day I happened to notice Faith's posting number. Just back from work, I'll be along as soon as I come up with an idea for a card. What a great choice for the teaparty this week, Kelly.
Honoring Faith is a great plan....Not only does she leave tons of comments she is an awesome stamper... Thanks Kelly for stepping in and helping out the Muddermark...Hmmm she has a Mark in her name too??? I am off to see if I have a cat stamp.. I have been wanting to play for weeks...I love this sweet group.
Happy birthday Dorothy... Hope your travels are taking you to fun places and your day is awesome.

What a fun tea party today and congrats to Faith on the humungous amount of comments! Here is my Speedy the cat card.... it just took a little bit of psychology to figure out why Speedy didn't want to go...it just wasn't cool to go by bus!

I love following the adventures of Speedy the Cat -- it was one of the first things I discovered when I wondered into the SCS, clueless about what to do or where to go. Here's my card for Speedy, A postcard from his cousin

Giggle, Cindy! I told Mr etsdas (Erling is his name) about the cake and I think his reply was something like "probably not". Actually he does a lot of cooking (so I can stamp and gab on SCS) but baking is not among his skills (LOL) - unless it goes from freezer to microwave. He is pretty good at that.
We just got back from an unexpected night away from home and no computer, so now I have to catch up! I need to figure out what to do with Speedy!
I heard that Speedy was hiding in the 'glades. You REALLY have to not want to go somewhere to hide out there where all of those big ole toothy lizards live!
Hi Ladies! Ahh from the looks of these posts, I see the party has been going in full swing! I'll be commenting tomorrow on the wonderful Speedy cards...had work and the start of T-Ball to contend with...oh yeah, and Matthew Fox on Lost, swoooooooon!
Had to join the tea party this week...fun, fun! SPEEDY THE CAT

Here's a thought, is there any way we could actually send Faith our Speedy cards. She might like to put them in some kind of book possibly for Markie. We could write our episodes inside the card and it would be a great keepsake.
I am a huge fan of Faith's and I have had occasion to grin from ear to ear when I've discovered she's commented on something I posted! I also love all the Speedy stories, and thought it was so fitting that he be featured in her new company Mark's Finest Papers.
I really enjoyed this challenge and actually came up with a story this time!
here's mine: Pork Chopper to the rescue!
I just discovered the teapot challenge this week, and I'm so glad I did because I love Faith's art. She gives me so much inspiration and I have been lucky enough to be the recipient of some of her gracious comments. I can't imagine posting over 100,000 comments -- seems like I have been working forever to get up to 1000! So thanks, Faith, for all the inspiration. When I saw the laundry teapot, I knew I had the perfect stamps for this challenge. My card is a reminder that if Speedy is going on a trip, he'd better make sure he has clean laundry to go with him!
