What is CAS?
CAS is an acronym for Clean and Simple.
There are different ways people view CAS. It is very subjective. There is no list of rules that will fit everyones personal definition. The following are possible guidelines, only. Please do not feel afraid of playing in the CAS challenge or debate with yourself if youve created a CAS card. If it is a CAS card to you, put CAS in the keyword box.
1. Clean: the design is uncluttered with lots of white or open space. Simple: having a clear focal point without a lot going on to detract from it.
OR
2. simple in design regardless of the number of embellishments or how long it takes to color, stitch or to use a special technique
OR
3. can be copied and mass produced fairly quickly usually without a lot of coloring, layers, embellishments, tools and/or techniques
OR
4. any combination of the above
************************************************** *******
We are having a sketch challenge this week! This sketch is inspired by one of our DT members, Carly! Have fun!
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Currently designing for some great companies!!!
So the card that Jen showed you above was actually the second card I made for this week's sketch challenge. My first card seemed not so CAS by the time I finished. But I wanted to share it with you anyway!
When I click on "CAS60 Gallery" above it's a dead click. Takes me nowhere. Can't get to the CAS gallery.
I'm having the same problem. :( I'm also totally computer inept so don't know how to go about searching out the gallery. Maybe someone will take pity on us and post a link.

If you have problems getting to the gallery, go to the main gallery by clicking on "Gallery" at the top of this page. Then, click on "search" and enter CAS60 and click "Go". That should get you there.

Thank you for the link -- it worked great! Thanks also for the explaination of how to go about finding a specific CAS week by doing a search in the gallery. It made sense and now I will know what to do next time if there isn't a link.
I'm not sure why my card isn't showing up in the cas60 gallery. I've checked my keywords and they are correct. Maybe it will show up later, but until then, here is my card:
Location: between the mountains & the seashore of NC
