Arrow Qbee's Butterfly Boxes

Qbee's Butterfly Boxes

Originally the template for these butterfly boxes were part of a demonstrator-only challenge that I hosted in May, but after receiving several requests for the template, I asked and received permission to share the templates on the public side of Splitcoaststampers.

I created the butterfly box templates based on the two types of butterflies found on the Stampin' Up! Beautiful Butterflies Die. Three of the butterflies match the large Butterfly Box and the fourth butterfly (the one with the scallop edged wing tips) matches the small butterfly box. Even if you don't have the Stampin' Up Beautiful Butterflies die, the butterfly boxes can be embellished in many different ways, without using the die.

Small Butterfly Box Dimensions:
Base: 2-1/4" wide x 1-1/4 deep
Butterfly: 4" wide x 3-1/4" high

Large Butterfly Box Dimensions:
Base: 3" wide x 1-1/2" deep
Butterfly: 5" wide x 4" high

I hope you have fun designing your own butterfly boxes.

Ok.. I went ahead and created an svg file to import into Sure Cuts Alot to cut on a Cricut die cutting machine. The file includes score lines that the cricut will cut to help in folding the box. You can get it on my blog

Hi Brenda...I just tried to view your pdf files and I just get a blank screen. Tried it from two different types of browsers and 3 different pdf's. It's only yours that are giving me trouble. I am able to open other pdf's. Any idea what's gone wrong?

The servers for SCS were migrated this week. I have let them know that there's a problem. I'm not sure when it will get fixed though.

This server migration caused a lot more problems than just attachments. Have any of you noticed that there are now only 15 pages in the Techniques forum? There used to be over 100.

I sent an email to Customer Service who said she was going to notify the techies. Just thought I'd let you guys know.
