Just wanted you to know that this color combo came from Saturday's cute foods. I got up Saturday and thought I would pop on to SCS and see what the Inspiration Challenge was all about. I was looking at all these amazing foods when I came by this picture and just about choked on my cup of java. Should have come with a spew alert! There was...dusty! Good grief...and on a cookie, too! Good enough to eat? Kidding, right? When I saw this picture, I just knew I HAD to share the LOVE with all of the color combo fans! Hee Hee! You are going to be amazed at how sweet dusty can be with caramel and pink! I know! I cannot believe I just said that!
I was going to include this picture and how I came about this color with the post. Of course, that means that all who play can link to the Cutest Foods IC224, too.
CC263: Creamy Dusty Pinks! Creamy Caramel
Dusty Durango (really rust)
Pretty in Pink
Neutrals White, Ivory, or Black
This week's dessert option: LEAVES! You can add leaves of any kind....punched, die cut, or printed. However, if you add GREEN leaves you must color them in order to make them GREEN! That is the ONLY way you can have an extra color! LOL! I am "leafing" it all up to you!
I got Harriet and Loretta to sample with me this week! Thanks a bunch, girls!
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC263 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading click here!
I will be hosting the color challenges for the next few weeks. If there is a color combo you want to see using any of the new in colors, please pm me with the link to the card. Try to stay within three color choices. Thanks so much!
OK, I'll have to admit I wasn't sure how to add pink to the dusty and caramel colors, but think I made it work with THIS CARD.

Betty, what a GORGEOUS color combo today!! I know why you are "leader of the pack".....I said, "Cute cookies", you said "Great colors!". : ) This one really hit a chord with me and I pulled out one of my favorite floral stamps.
Oh the pressure of getting this done before the site goes down! I did not have any ink, etc the right color - my substitute looks a lot better IRL than on the screen. SC263 Thanks a bunch by etsdas at Splitcoaststampers
Yeah! I can finally upload mine. However, I thought it didn't show up in my gallery. Well, it did at the beginning of my gallery with the year 1901! Weird. What is up with SCS? CC263 Dusty Poppies by Bailmac at Splitcoaststampers

Yeah! The Gallery came back....well partially...hopefully the rest will follow. I know it was in NO WAY your fault, Betty! Change doesn't always come easily!
I still think is one of my favorite color combos! Thanks!
Well, I was finally able to get this uploaded, though it went to the back of my gallery w/ a date of Dec 13, 1901, lol! Here's my Latte Friends. Thanks so much for looking! I'll be back in the morning to view and comment and hopefully things will be back to normal.

CC263: Really Rust (didn't have any Dusty Durango), Pretty in Pink, Creamy Caramel with Very Vanilla for neutral. I didn't add any leaves, so no dessert today.
SC273 layout: I varied it a bit by extending my panel all the way across the creamy caramel layer.
