Smile How do you store your Cricut cartridges?

I'm looking for creative ways to store my Cricut cartridges that would take up less room than the boxes. Especially to take them to crops. Any ideas? Pictures are welcome.

I took the cart, key pad and book out of the box and put them in a photo box, I divide it up by the tabs included, I can keep 12 carts per box and the keypad and book fit perfectly! HTH

I store the boxes in the large boxes my Cricut and Expression came in. I keep the cartridges, keypad overlays and booklets in Snapware containers. They are grouped by category that makes sense to me. I have 5 containers. One is for fonts the other 4 are for images. Each group is 2 containers that hook together and are labeled. Top one holds the cartridges and keypad overlays, the bottom one holds the booklets. These containers sit on the shelf above my machines easy to reach.

The top container does have a handle, but not sure I would trust it for carrying. They do get a bit heavy with so many in them. I don't travel with my craft tools, so I don't have to worry about that.

Also....to save some space, I do remove the pages from the booklets that are not in English. Big X on the one side of page non-English with English on the other side. Less confusing that way to realize that I speak English.

I bought some nylon pencil bags at Wal-Mart. I keep the cartidge, booklet and keypad cover in the pencil bag. I have 2 colors of bags (1 for font carts, 1 for shape carts). Works well for me!

I remember someone said they stored their Cricut stuff in a large tackle/tool box. I can't remember where I saw the idea, but I do remember being amazed at how many they could store that way.

I don't use one of these, but they do look promising for 'traveling' with cartridges!

Scrapcessories Cartridge Caddy

Has anyone used these? I'd love to hear what you think!

I store mine in a Plano Flipsider 3714 tackle box. I take out every other row of the compartments and keep the keypad overlay's with the cartridges. I keep the booklets in one of those photo boxes you can get from m's. The cartridges fit in there perfectly, I put a cottonball in the bottom to make sure it doesnt slip all the way down, it holds 16 cartridges with matching overlays, or you can store 32 cartridges without matching overlays.

Its about the size of legal paper and only about 1 1/2" deep, its perfect for travelling to crops and such.
