WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY AND CHALLENGE #82
GIMME' SOME SOUP! I DID A LOOP-DE-LOOP!!
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun!
This is my story!
1. Yep, you guessed it! A completely white teapot! Yikes. What are we gonna do with that? Well, I really wasn't sure but things just have a way of working out! Some of you may have heard that Shaun White has been secretly training at his private Colorado halfpipe (dubbed Project X) in Silverton, Colorado prior to the olympics. Well, we are off to Project X to help Shaun deal with a couple of issues! Don't worry, I worked out free snowboarding lessons for us teapotters! Woot! Dress warm, really warm and if you don't have a snowboard, bring your kid's plastic snow saucer. That'll work!!
2. Abner, the Abdominable Snowman (See his picture below!) really didn't know what to think when Shaun White invaded his neck of the woods and started building a big halfpipe with heavy equipment! When an aggitated Abner approached Shaun and told him he was on his turf, Shaun tried to calm him down and bribe him by giving him free snowboarding lessons! Didn't work! Abner said, are you crazy? I don't wanna hafta do 42,000 of those double gainer foot grab triple toe loop side 360 twist flip thingys that you do!! I'd kill myself if I tried that stuff besides they don't make a snowboard big enough for me!! So Shawn asked him what he could do for him in exchange for sharing his turf during training season? And as a result, we have a purpose on this Teapot Tuesday! It seems Abner has an issue with white! (Don't tell Abner that Shaun's last name is please!) Yikes!
3. He's sick of white! White, white, white, white, white! That is all he has seen all his years! He is white, he lives in white, his family is white, his foot prints are white, his snow cave is white, its all white, white, white, white, white!!!! He just wants some color in his life! He doesn't wanna learn how to snowboard, he doesn't wanna learn how to drive the heavy equipment, he doesn't wanna cup of hot chocolate, a new flat screen tv, a toe nail cutter, a closer shave, or nuttin'! He just wants some color in his life! That's where we come in.
4. So here is the scoop, Loop-de-Loop! Loop-de-Loop is the amazing heavy equipment operating wizard/professional halfpipe builder dude that Red Bull hired to build Project X. He earned the nic name Loop-de-Loop because he stands at the top of the halfpipe and yells, do a Loop-de-Loop Shaun!! (He's Shaun's biggest fan!) Our job in exchange for snowboarding lessons is to bring Abner some color! Something that he can be happy about. But just one word of caution, we need to break him in gently. Use a white background and then add your splash of color to that so he doesn't flip out! And don't bring any white snowflakes, divinity, or vanilla milkshakes as they bring out the worst in Abner and believe me, we don't wanna see his worst!
Brrrr........It's cold! Hot tea is good but this free style stuff makes ya work up an appetite! Anyone that does a Loop-de-Loop, gets some yummy hot soup!

Okay, what I think I'm reading here sounds rather fishy if you ask me. Alas, I will overlook that and try my best to give Abner all the color he can use. I'm in.

Can any of you remember what hospital Mothermark is in? I was supposed to check up on her!!! Oh well, let me know if you get it figured out!
Oh my, I live close does Mothermark need company. I can sit by her side and read her all of the comments today. I just have to take the curlers out of my hair and I am ready to go......fast as lightning. lol.

We've just had our first real snowfall of the season - very strange for our part of Southern Ontario, but okay with me LOL. I'm anxiously awaiting Spring and Summer!!
I've brought some good ol' Canadian red for Abner - TFL!
Wow, I had lots of colorful things dancing around in my little brain but decided to not shock Abner with to much color all at once...so here is my spring card
Okay, I am outa traction.....and even though I missed most of the challenge being layed up in the hospital, I had so much fun yesterday! All the cards rocked and I am sure there will be more to come that I can keep an eye out for! You guys are way to goofy for me!!!
I join the teaparty on the weekends when I can. I am so happy I was able to join you ladies this week. I'll be back tomorrow to look at the gallery.
I combined challenges and I figured Abner was accustomed to seeing whales from time to time so I hope this 'splash' of blue won't cause trama. Anyway...her it is: Get Whale
Well, I finally made it...plumbing problems at the house kinda made for a "fun" weekend, not to mention babysitting my great-niece (2 yr old!) while DH was working on the plumbing! Wooo Hooo!
