Yep!!! TWO things now in my disaster of a craft room that are actually organized!!!! LOL My inkpads and now my Copics..........of course the rest of my room is a major MESS!! LOL
I've got mine in order on the plexiglass cases they came in (I bought them as sets). I love it that way because I can see quite quickly what will work together. You can buy the cases individually.

That's very cool storage. Here's a pic of mine. It's a handmade basket with dividers ... like for silverware, etc. I love that I can pick it up and go.

I have that Magpie storage and was lucky enough to get it at big lots for $3 needless to say I got more than one. I use one for markers two for ink pads/glitter/embossing powder and one for sewing stuff .
Okay - after looking at this thread I'm now officially depressed! I try my best to keep organised -I really do but I think when they were dishing out the "tidy" genes I got missed!
The Copic storage systems are great but then I looked through Skicio's craft room photos (yes everyone of them!) - wow you are so organised. If you are ever in the North Of England I'll gladly let you sort my room out!

Well, I finally decided how I was going to organize my Copics. I found a similiar basket ($6.99 at target) but it only had 4 compartments. So...I added these 2 for $1.00 black tins from the dollar spot from Target.
Now, I've totally decided I'm more of a Copic Ciao because even though the Copic Sketch have a little bit of color on their ends and their numbers, I can't read them at all...so that's no help for me. I like the Copic Ciao because I can really see the color and to accomodate the numbers I just stuck their numbers on the end cap. I also know that the other end is always the brush end, so I don't even have to look.

Update--I just ordered one of the Magpie things from Overstock.com and shipping was free...it will take until 2010 until it gets here, but I didn't have to pay for it
I also used the magpie cubby! Except I modified it by taking the drawer out and installing 2 extra pieces of wood for 3 extra cubby's! Now I can fit all my families together! ***** I love organizing my stuff!!
I was teaching classes in Indiana this weekend; and one of my students (Patti-Jo, who had driven 12 hours each way from Ontario!) had the most PERFECT solution for coloring on the go. She had the 24-marker wallets for her entire collection of Copics, and they were placed inside this Creative Memories tote: called the Daisy Tools Caddy. She had two caddies, and this held her entire collection of all the Copic colors, PLUS the top portion of the caddy holds inkpads, stamps, multi-liners, etc.
Needless to say, I got home and found it online.
I love the small overall footprint of the case, and it's functionality. You take out the Velcro-d dividers that make it into four compartments and use just the space inside for your 24-marker wallets. Hers were folded with the marker colors exposed so you could see what was where.
I do have the clear plastic 72-marker clear cases for my markers; and those are lovely for being at home -- but too often, I'm traveling with my markers, whether to friends or to teach. I had stacked them into my rolling tote; but having witnessed what happens to them when I used to ship that way for UPS for my classes - I want something more shatter-resistant! I just demoed in Manhattan a couple weeks ago and between trains, taxis and pedestrian traffic; I'm lucky those plastic cases survived. LOL!
It never did fit all of my markers (i had my browns and blenders in a different case) and now I've REALLY outgrown it, so I think i'm looking for better organization... but it holds about 160 various markers. So if you have 160 or less markers, this is a really cute and convenient way to store your markers!
I now have my browns and grey in seperate cases..

I have the same case in red and love it! I only have about 100 markers (Sketch) and it'll hold about 180 Sketch, so I have some room to grow. I like how portable it is as I like to go to retreats and go over to my girlfriends' houses to stamp as well.

I reallly like all the ideas shown here. My problem is that I want to keep my copics packaged in the natural color blending groups that I purchased them (from Flourishes) - that way I can just grab a pack and get all the colors I need to do blending.
Right now they are in a rubbermaid plastic box - which at least contains them in one spot, but I still have to go through the box to find the grouping that I want. I need another way to store them so that I can see the groupings all at once. Any ideas?
