WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY AND CHALLENGE #78
DOWN HERE IN THIS BOAT! WE'RE STUCK IN THE MOAT!
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun!
This is my story!
1. I got this cute little teapot from my buddy Jane (harrahX2). She sends me the cutest darn teapots! Thank you Jane! You are so good to me! I hope you guys had a nice time relaxing at Tiffany's in New York because a week later we are off on another mission! Derek the Dragon is transporting us to Rapunzle's castle. I am not really sure where its located but Derek knows.
2. Rapunzel has just about had it with all the attention her hair gets. Even Rahier, her new fiance, seems obsessed with her hair. Suddenly she got the bright idear that she might be able to capitalize on that famous hair of hers. She's opened up a new hair salon in the castle called Classy Castle Cuts. She's asked us to bring some attention to her new salon as her marketing efforts have failed. She's depressed and discouraged. Rahier is at a loss as to what to do as he has his hands full on the battle field! Well, we know what makes a hair salon successful! Gossip and plenty of it! All we have to do is show up for Rapunzle's offering of tea, goodies, free haircuts or color and partake in a little idle gossiping. Pretty soon all the women in the village will be swarming the place just to get the latest scoop. That'll jump start Rapunzel's business and Rahier can get back to the battlefield!
3. So, here's the deal, Neil. Neil is the dude in charge of raising and lowering the moat gate. I think its important that we make friends with him just in case we have to make a fast get-a-way. Just bring something to gossip about, pretty much anything will interest the village women! A new apple pie recipe, the latest divorce, the latest engagement, that kid's a brat, her skirt is too short, she's a grandma now, has she gained weight, what is that on her head, did you see her trip and fall, I though he was married, this book is great, don't buy that brand, so he got fired, our vacation was great, she got a boquet of flowers, he bought another truck, they sold their house, they had ANOTHER kid, they painted their house purple, how many cats do they have, must be a middle age crisis.........You get the picture right? Think Steel Magnolias!
4. Okay, I feel the need to warn you about a couple of things.
Derek the Dragon is providing free airfare but he's not so good at the landings. It's how some of us ended up swimming to the boat in the moat which is home to 42,000 of Rahier's protective moat monsters!
Rapunzle is a little worried about staffing the salon to accommodate all the cuts and colors she's promised to the teapotters. But Rahier says not to worry, he has some fellow knights whose lives he has saved over the years and they owe him a favor. Can't be that hard to cut and color hair. Can it? They even sharpened their swords!
Rapunzel's hair sorta gets in the way if its not hanging outa the window. Just try not to step on it because that makes Rahier really, really angry!
The good news is no one has to come in the back door but you might wanna LEAVE through the back door if you are unlucky enough to draw a knight as your stylist. I hear the halls in the castle are dark and activity at the back door goes unnoticed for the most part. You just might draw some giggles and snorts from the castle cooks and maids.

I detected the teapot after the peek went up - I remembered that so-lovely little village of cards.
I broke a tooth at the weekend :-(, so I have to go to the dentist in the afternoon after work and I won't be home till dinner time - but maybe with all that time to think, I'll have a workable plan to execute in the evening.
Laughing at the knights cutting hair - there's a barber shop in town called Knights on the Green, with a suit of (imitation) armour out front. Hey, maybe I should just pop my camera in my bag and try to snag a photo later on and just make that my card. 'Cos I ain't got no dragons or damsels...
OMgosh! how to fun will this be Cindy... I stayed up way to late... of course, I had this story in my head.. now... to find just the right image...
Looking forward to all the fun reading all the far out stories..

Oh how fun this week is gonna be....Always wanted to see a real castle with a moat and everything...Luckily I just got my hair done, so can pass on the knights cutting skills and go straight to the gossipin and stirrin up phase....will be back later, must go gather some gossip....

Oh dear! My hair needs to be cut pretty badly; I hope none of those knights notice that and come after me with their sharpened blades.
I have an idea for this challenge, but I won't be able to play until much later. I think I saw an older lady lounging by the moat trying to soak up some sun. You know, I just bet she has some really juicy gossip to share!
I popped in from work to check out the Teapot story so I could be thinking of creative ideas while I'm supposed to be working. Shhhh!! ;) Wow!!! What a story line!!! Cindy, have you ever been approached by any of the TV networks to write story lines for the soap operas???

I am sorry - it's been a long day what with work and then the dentist.
I'd like to come back with some fish for the moat and a new stamp that needs inking up, but this is as good as it gets today.

Well, the good news is I got my hair cut last week, so I can just sit around and chat, drink tea and eat whatever yummy cookies someone brings along.
I figure someone will want to talk about babies, so that's my card.
