It is time for another color combo challenge. I actually love this combo once I started playing with it. I must admit, when I pick out the colors, I do not do a card with it until later. So, in a sense, I can sort of play along, too. I rarely use soft blues. So, I knew I wanted to use an in color with a soft blue. These colors just evolved from that process. The three just seem to go together once you get playing, too. Cannot wait to see what you all create!
I have tried to capture colors to paste here from the SU Combo site. I have been unable to copy and paste. If you need to see actual colors for reference points, please check out this link. Click onto the word colors for the combo to see them together.
CC: 254 Bashful Blue Suede Rubies
Bashful Blue
Soft Suede(close to cocoa)
Ruby Red
Neutral of Choice
This week's dessert option is to use stripes.
I asked Heather and Joanne to sample with me this week. Thanks so much!
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC254 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading click here!
I will be hosting the color challenges for the next few weeks. If there is a color combo you want to see using any of the new in colors, please pm me with the link to the card. Try to stay within three color choices. Thanks so much!
Wow, I want to play these colors! I am sooo tired but I want to play tomorrow night after work and between DD's dance and DS's basketball and maybe a bit-by-bit in-between! ;)
My eyes are barely staying open, but here's MY CARD. Thanks for a great new color combo, Betty!

Just as I was posting this I realized that I used Chocolate Chip instead of Soft Suede- woops. That's what happens when you stay up late to make a care instead of sleeping. Anyway, these colors did come together well, great call, Betty. And, thank you for hostessing our weekly color challenge.
Betty the Red link under your name for the Gallery says CC245 but it does take you to CC254 so not sure if it really matters that much but somebody may upload to the wrong gallery (I almost did as I am Half asleep LOL )....Kelly
This always seems to happen to me...my reply posts twice! So editing here...just wanted to say it's fun doing these challenges...hope to join more often!
Another thought-provoking color challenge, Betty. I didn't find it as comfortable as last week's, but I really like it! I thank you for making me get out of my comfort zone....that's how we discover new things!

GREAT challenge...I don't have ANY of those colors, so I had to MAKE them! I'm getting pretty good at figuring out how to mix inks to get the desired colors, so it's all good!

This is a great color combo challenge and it just happen to be the same as a couple of things that I was working on this morning... so I hope you all enjoy!
