Well, it seems like a few had issues with last weeks challenge. Not too many takers! Lets see if we can attract a few more with this fun technique!
Our very own challenge chasing sister Biggan (Birgit) recently wrote a cool tutorial that is here in the resourses section on SCS. She even did a video! Thanks so much, Birgit!
This one is pretty cut and dried. No special supplies needed.
I will say that I had a little difficulty, at first, lining my pieces up straight. I finally cut a piece of cardstock to 2/3rds the size of my image and lined it with sticky tape. Then I used the bottom edge of the cardstock to line up my pieces straight. But, to be honest, I was blurry eyed when I was doing it anyway, so it was probably just me!

Good Morning! Fun to see the challenge "Brick wall"! I must correct you Holly (Toy)..it was Beate who did the video!! I dont want you to listen to my bad English ....
Heres mine;
I felt bad about missing last week, Holly. But we don't have those sort of concentrated powders here, so I would have been experimenting with essential oils. And as that was the day we had no water, and it took way too long after work to discover that the council had cut the supply and it wasn't maybe a burst pipe - well, creative isn't what I was feeling. I never even went up to my attic till after dinner.
But I am off work today, and as you've posted early, maybe I will even do this before I do all the weekly chores.

Doh! Sorry, Birgit! I didn't actually watch the tutorial as your step by step was so great. But, our little miss Beate has quite the cute accent, too! ;)
Thanks, Holly for another challenging challenge! : ) This one was for me....I'm not a patient cardmaker. Coloring is the most time I spend on anything, so this one took me awhile. Don't feel discouraged if every week hoards don't play....those of us that do truly enjoy it. Others may not have the supplies on hand and/or the time(I find most TLC do take more time for me than the other challenges). You're doing GREAT!!
When I saw Birgit's card several weeks ago, I thought that was a pretty cool technique. I'm glad you picked it for today's technique challenge, Holly. As I'm off from work for MLK Day, I was able to do two cards for the challenge.

Taaadaaaaa..... finally. This was a very good challenge for me...had to pay lots of attention. I made 2 false starts and a few "oops" on this one, but that's what embellishments are for. lol. tfl and have a great day.

I will be back but I am going out of town for 3 days so don't expect an upload until Saturday at the earliest! Doesn't mean I'm not playing!!!
