I love my slice, but I have the MM 12x12 mat and I do use their glue. It isn't messy and dries quickly. I cover my mats with plastic wrap and so far so good. The glue lasts for a long time. I have the mistletoe card but haven't had a chance to play with it yet. I think this little gadget is better than the cricut. Small and cuts like butter even through basic grey.

I always keep mine plugged in and cut with it plugged in. I don't go to crops. I only make cards now so I use it at home.
