A couple of months back, in the Weekly Inkling, Beate had a fun card project called a Wiper Card. Today, I thought it would be fun to use this resource as our Try a New Technique challenge today.
Complete directions for this project can be found HERE.
Additionally, to view all of the cards using today's technique, CLICK HERE to view the TLC243 gallery.
And for all the inspiration you could possibly ask for, be sure to check out the Wiper Card gallery HERE.
As a reminder, be sure to use the keywords TLC243 AND Wiper Card when you upload your projects. I can't wait to see what awesomeness you all will create this week!

Oh my gosh, I think I'm first to post on the thread! I saw Beate's tutorial in the Weekly Inkling too, and wanted to make one.... now I have my chance!
Lynn, thank you for another great challenge. Hopefully SCS will be your biggest challenge of the day! LOL

I've been seeing the little link for these at the top of the page - and never got round to clicking through. So as always, thanks for the push to try something that I'd just still be thinking about, without the TLC to spur me on.
YES - you can Pam...the video really helped me visualize how it was all put together. I love the new videos that are being put with the Resources projects, don't you? Beate does a FANTASTIC job with them.

Looks like fun, Lynn - thanks for reminding me to do one of these! I saw Beate's tutorial and thought hmm.. I'll have to try one of those one day. So today's the day!
I had trouble uploading too, so I hope it's there! A Wiper for You.
Had to take a break from the cleaning because my hayfever was so bad, but I don't suppose I have any excuse not to get back to it now!

I had a terrible time this morning and posted a thread in the Site Suggestions forum. It could be a problem they are having, so they at least know I'm not getting good results yet. I eventually was able to, after about 4 attempts.

Here is my card, I know there is something I did not do right, because the right side is sticking out!!!:( Well, I did it and I am going back to try again.
Thank you Lynn for this challenge, and know that my failure to make it right has nothing to do with you or Beate's tutorial. I'm just that kind of person; nut! :p
thank you for looking and please some of you don't laugh so loud I can hear you all the way from over here!!!
Thanks Lynn for challenging us to try something so new and fun and thanks to Beate for the wonderful tutorial. Don't know why I was so leery of this technique, it was nothing to be skeered of

You gals all made this look so easy I thought I'd give it a go. After eleven failed attempts and six entire watchings of the video I finally have a card base that works. Yippee. I wonder how I managed to get so turned around... anyone else like me?
Anyhow, now I need to make it pretty.
