Im trying to take us back to our stamping roots with the challenge this week. We all started with the basics stamps, paper and ink, so that is where I would like everyone to return.
Todays challenge is to do a FALL-themed card with stamps, paper and ink . . . and NO embellishments! Thats right . . . no buttons, no ribbon, no brads, no eyelets, no stickers, no rub-ons, no chipboard, no primas . . . YIKES!!
So, you ask, What CAN I use? I didnt want to leave you TOTALLY bereft of the ability to use other things, so you can use diecuts (which include punches) and/or embossing folders. Just keep in mind that the focal point of your creation should be something STAMPED and not something diecut (you CAN use a Nestabilities die, for example, but there must be something stamped in center of it!)
And make sure to use a Fall theme on your card Halloween or lovely fall leaves or foliage or something of that sort.
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Wow, I have never been the first one to post - this was a quick card that I was in the middle of making when I read the challenge and decided my tree could be a fall tree....haha.....hope you like it - I will pay for this tomorrow at work but had to make a card for my son's bd..... Here it is:
What a fun challenge, I will see if I can get one in...I have pre-school to teach, son to pick up from school, grocery shopping, house cleaning and then pick up my mom and sis at the air port...all by 4pm! YIKES!!! go slow today day!
Thanks for the early post - this should be a nice quick easy card when I get back from work. But not a chance of combining it with the WT challenge which I missed yesterday, sigh. I think I know exactly the stamp to use .
Wendy.........great way to start off this dark rainy Friday. I peaked at the gallery and the cards are beautiful. I have to stop commenting and go and make a card !
Back in a bit.

Thanks for making this challenge easy for me...I have been busy visiting with my mom this week from San Diego. I have no time to stamp, but I had a few minutes this morning before I got my kids up for school.

Here's another entry today. I didn't know what simple closure I could use for these until I saw the clever way LaLatty used the word window punch out piece as a clasp.
Thanks for the idea.
