I just made up a little poem to put on the hot chocolate packages I'll be selling at a craft show. I got tired of the snowman soup poem and other poems I found on the web were too "wordy" - I lose interest after a few lines! Anyway, I don't have my little home-made verse in front of me but it goes something like this:
When winter winds blow
bringing ice and snow,
Nothing is more heaven-sent
than chocolate and peppermint!
I put a little tiny candy cane in the package with the hot chocolate, hence the "peppermint."
Thanks for the nice comments! Yes, by all means, if you like my little poem, feel free to use it! You have all helped me so much on this site - usually without even knowing it!
Now don't just sit there . . . go stamp something!
Using a tea bag instead of chocolate, I used-A woman is like a tea bag - you never know how strong she is until she is in hot water. Grreat for a lot of situations!
Yummy ideas...delicious for all of us to use. I'm thinking of using a wrapped peppermint candy or a candy cane as an added embellishment. Thanks for all these shared ideas!
