Title: GOODLUCK KISS Hostess: Cobi (lilorangemouse) Keyword: NOV09VSNPRE5 Date: Friday, September 25, 2009 Time: 11:00PM (EST)
All the beautiful gowns ande the fancy masks, the mystery and the whole ballroom scene brings a real sense of romance to the guests at a Masquerade Ball. The sensory overload makes one's heart flutter with excitement!
And something else that makes my heart flutter is teenage chick flicks! Of course, when you put that together with Masquerade, there's a few out there. One of my favourites, though, is Just My Luck, starring Lindsay Lohan. Take a look at this trailer:
It was the kiss at the Masquerade Bash that changed everything for the characters in the movie. So, with that in mind, my challenge to you is to create a card using the kissing technique.
You can use either of these tutorials for your card:
In the movie the kiss brought Good Luck, so you also need to have a sentiment on your card that wishes luck to someone, whether it be in the form of an actual "Good Luck" sentiment or something more like "Thoughts of You" or "Best Wishes."
Have fun! Can't wait to see your creations! And hear your kissing stories!
UPLOADING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EST ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27th.
2. You have 45 minutes to complete the challenge.
3. Please remember to put in the correct keyword (NOV09VSNPRE5) when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in the chat thread just in case the gallery is being testy.

I had to go back to read your secret message...missed it the first time, thinking about how much I like kissing (the technique and really!) then I had to laugh at your question...
My other first thoughts with your challenge was how pretty your cards were and both great sets to play with...so now I'm off to my stash to see what else I can play with...I used to love those Big Bold Butterflies...but actually sold them last year (gasp).
Both your challenge and Trish's need the bold images...I pulled out Flight of the Butterfly to mull over for hers...but maybe this would be better...
Obviously late, I am babbling...
More tired than usual, after a day of herding and seperating out our cows...
Off to figure it out...

I have actually never tried the kissing technique before this challenge.
Here is my card. Each leaf is kissed with a darker shade of the color. It was supposed to be a CAS card, but the leaves were uneven so I had to come up with something else. I finished it in 29 minutes.
Thank you for taking the time to look at and comment upon my card.

So here is my Kissed card...
I didn't think I made cards without some little sentiment on every one...but this is the second challenge this weekend I've broken the rule of words on! Sorry...
I could add a wee 'Bonne Chance' under the last strip...but I think I'll put it inside
Can we go with 'the luck of the Irish' with the colour?!?
Thanks for a fun challenge!

Yo, Cobi, I finally finished all the challenges! I haven't done kissing in a long time--in stamping either! LOL. It was a fun challenge, girl.
Anyway, here's mine:
I really didn't think I was going to get this one done. I'm not so good at making cards late at night, but I made it anyway, and it turned out just like I wanted it to. Here is my only orange leaf kissed with close to cocoa French script. Late Night Leaf Kissing by casep at Splitcoaststampers
Another great challenge! Thanks, I enjoyed them all.
