CAS33 Its A Sketch inspired by Cookiebaker (9/21/09)
What is CAS?
CAS is an acronym for Clean and Simple.
There are different ways people view CAS. It is very subjective. There is no list of rules that will fit everyones personal definition. The following are possible guidelines, only. Please do not feel afraid of playing in the CAS challenge or debate with yourself if youve created a CAS card. If it is a CAS card to you, put CAS in the keyword box.
1. Clean: the design is uncluttered with lots of white or open space. Simple: having a clear focal point without a lot going on to detract from it.
OR
2. simple in design regardless of the number of embellishments or how long it takes to color, stitch or to use a special technique
OR
3. can be copied and mass produced fairly quickly usually without a lot of coloring, layers, embellishments, tools and/or techniques
Hi everyone! Jen asked me to post the challenge for her tonight. Hopefully I did this correctly, please let me know if anyone sees any mistakes. I hope you feel better soon Jen!
This week we have a sketch challenge for you. This challenge was inspired by Cookiebaker's gorgeous CAS card that you can see HERE.
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Thanks ladies! I just wanted to make sure that I did it correctly. I'm off to make some more cards using this sketch! Two of my favorite challenges, CAS and a sketch
Oh yummy!! What a great card - that cookiebaker can really create beautiful cards!! I will need to ponder and create some time this week. I am just too tired tonight to do anything!!
Patty, thanks for posting for Jen. We usually stalk this thread on Sunday night, so we West coasters appreciate the early post. I LOVE a sketch challenge, so I'm off to my stamping table. Thanks.

I finally found time to come back and play. I have to admit I'm super excited about that too ;) My proportions are a little off on mine because I looked at the sketch and went to create. when I came back and looked again I realized my center strip was a little wide  But, here is my blingy submission:
