MMTPT64: A Tisket, A Tasket, There's a Problem with our Basket!
WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY AND CHALLENGE #64
A-TISKET, A-TASKET, THERE'S A PROBLEM WITH OUR BASKET!
This is my story!
1. I honestly don't know how this deal is gonna turn out guys! We have been invited to Pelahatchi, Mississippi. One of the reasons we are going back to Mississippi again is cuz I really love typing Mississippi! Its fun! Mississippi! I can do it really fast! Oops...okay back to the story!
2. Anyway, we are invited to a Pic-a-nic at Jellystone Park! Hey, Boo, Boo! Why am I concerned about how this deal is gonna turn out? It seems after rescuing Lou-la-Bella Rock-a-Fella from the Bug Thug last week, we have become celebrities! The residents of Jellystone Park can't wait until we get there! That is where Barney comes into play. A-Tisket, A-Tasket, there's a problem with our basket! He refuses to get out of our basket! Somethin' about getting autographs and his belief that the only way we will notice him is when we try to get to the food! He knows food is important at our teaparties! I think that was reported on National news one week!
3. So here's the Plan, Stan! (Stan is the Park Ranger!) I am thinking we have three options:
Plan A ~ Barney might be young, a baby really! But he is still a BEAR! Duh! And he is smarter than the average bear! It's not gonna be that easy to get to the food! Let's bring more pic-a-nic baskets, checkered table cloths, watermelon, home-made honey (for the bears), ham sandwiches, apple pie, chips and of course, flavored teas! You know, Pic-a-nic food! If Barney's really hungry, his appetite might get the best of him and he will move on to bigger and better baskets!
Plan B ~ Barney might not be hungry! But he just might be a big chicken! Bawwkk! Bawwkk! Let's bring some bigger, badder bears! Grown-ups! Grizzly type bears! If we can control the bigger badder bears maybe we can skeer Barney outa the Basket!
Plan C ~ Barney and the Big Bears might make friends, eat all our food, drink all our tea! Well, we'll have no choice but to find another pic-a-nic spot. Let's bring our own pine trees, lake fronts, log cabins, wildflowers, campfires, pic-a-nic tables, pesky squirrels, you get the picture! Whose idea was it to come to Pelahatchi, Mississippi anyway?
4. Like I say, I really don't know how this deal is gonna turn out! If you have to go through the entire alphabet all the way to Plan Z, no worries. just make a card inspired by this teapot. I won't even make you come in the back door, cuz there's not one! No rules at our teaparties! Snort!
A-tisket, A-tasket,
Barney's in our basket.
We brought a basket filled with food,
But on the way we dropped it.
A big ole Grizzly picked it up, And put it in his pocket.
Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT64 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Ever want to get a jump on next week's challenge card? I am posting a sneak peak (tea peak) on my blog each week showing you a glimpse of the following week's teapot as well as a hint of the story! It's at the end of the Teapot Tuesday Post each week. Be sneaky and get a jump on the other tea-potters! Snort!
If you are confused about these challenge, see Post #1 of this thread for more information as well as a directory to individual challenges within the thread!
I am inticing him out of the basket with pumpkin bread... Great teapot Cindy. Thanks for another super challenge. When I first read your story I thought he was stuck in the basket..so I went that route...I like detours.
I'm actually on time for the tea party this week! I've found us a new spot for the pic-a-nic and brought some more baskets -- see here
(We went camping over Labor Day and our campground was a few miles past one of those giant Jellystone Park places. I think my husband said "hey, Boo-boo, I smell a pic-a-nic" everytime we drove by, so I'm all prepared for pic-a-nics).
There's a little girl bear coming to the pic-a-nic! She wants to entice that big hunk of a Yogi type bear outta that basket! Maybe there'll be some snoochin' goin' on soon! LOL! It Takes a Female! by MrsBoz at Splitcoaststampers

OMG! The lady bug cards that came out of this challenge are the cutest ever! If you all have not checked the lady bug gallery recently, do it! Its well worth the visit! Joanne your card is so elegant....Did not realize Ladybug Lou-la-Bella was so beautiful, know wonder she got kidnap-ed! Hee!
Okay and just in case these don't get into the SCS gallery, check these two out....they are from Deb (Deb Down Under) on her blog! They just rock!
Can I play too? I chose to find a new picnic spot. My baby Stella is doing her best Vanna White impression, I just couldn't bear(no pun intended, haha) to crop her out of the photo, I hope you don't mind!

Being that Garnet, that's me, has been hired as cub reporter for the Jellystone News, we investigated your story regarding the bear in the picnic basket. As is often the case, eye-witnesses got the story all wrong.
Please read our article over on page #?? regarding Barney Bear and his friend Ted (Fisher) Bear.
P.S. It really is Tuesday still at my house. A little dark outside for a pic-a-nic, but us reporters are used to sneaking around in the forest late at night.
Here is Barney Bear. He was thirsty and he's drinking all the tea that was for our party!
Years ago when my family moved to Florida, we lived at a Yogi Bear Campground in South Orlando for about 9 months or so. My parents worked there; my mom actually worked there for several years. I worked in the rec center for about 6 months when I was 17.
Hi guys! What fun we had with Barney! I haven't checked the gallery in a day so I better go do that....wanted to let you know the tea peek to next weak is posted on my glob!!! Hee!
I loved hearing your stories, even the real life ones...like growing up in Jellystone Park (RJP111) How cool is that? Hee!

It just KILLS me to have to post this message........
Hi guys.....
I just wanted to let you know that I will be taking a little break for a couple of weeks from my blog, SCS and the Teapot Tuesday challenges. I have some family issues going on that are pressing on my mind and I am having a difficult time dealing with stuff. I just don't have the right mind set to carry on at this time.
I really contemplated continuing because I simply love Teapot Tuesday and I truly have a wonderfully fun time with all of you in our world of make believe but Friday was a difficult day for me and I thought pulling away for a couple of weeks will be a good thing right now for me.
Thanks so much for making Tuesdays so fun! And thanks for pointing others to this post if you know of people wondering why my Tuesday post is not up, doesn't appear here and on my blog. I plan to pick up with the same black and white teapot but at a later date.
Thanks so much for being SO cool...All of you! And thanks for your understanding.
I'm sorry to hear about your struggles, Cindy. But you have to take care of yourself first and we all know that. :-) I'll be praying for you and your family.
Oh Cindy, my heart goes out to you! You have brought so much fun to us here on SCS, and I think I can speak for us all when I say, we just want you to take care of whatever you need to do! You are so giving and special. We will all be here waiting for your return WHENEVER you are ready! Hugs!!!

WIll be thinking of you and wishing you the best
Cindy, I'm giving you a BIG CYBER-HUG {{{{{{hug}}}}}!!!!! You will be in my prayers!!!!

Well wishes, hugs and prayers are going up for you. You came up for prayer in the Twisted Sistah's thread. So many will miss you and respect you for taking care of the important stuff!
Take your time so you are ready for craziness and snorting when you come back!

Hey fellow teapartiers. Since there won't be a teaparty tomorrow, I wanted to share an idea with you. I think instead of drinking tea and getting wild, we should throw Cindy an encouragement shower.
I already posted my card. If you would like to join me just put MMTPTES in the keyword.
If you are a member of RAK you can find Cindy's address there. If you aren't, there are several ladies who have offered to help get your card to Cindy. You can pm Peggysue or me.
