Good morning! Hope you're up for a challenge today! I'm not sure if you're going to hate me for this one or not! LOL We're running out of new challenges to try so here it is. Variegated Color. Try using some variegated ribbon (you could make your own if you wish), variegated thread, yarn, paper etc. If you don't have any, pull out your inks or copics and make your own. Have fun with it! Variegated colors flow from one color into the next and then back again.
Please remember to put WT231 in your keywords section and post a link back here so that we can all see your projects. Please link only newly uploaded projects to the gallery. We want to get you creating!
Oh my we could never hate you Julia! These ARE called Challenges aren't they? They are supposed to make us think outside the box, and scratch our head, then say, Ah-ha! Then we go ahead and stamp and create. Thanks to people like you, we grow in our skills and become the BEST we can be. Keep those challenges coming Julia! :-)

OMGosh....GREAT challenge...And, I had the perfect ribbon to try this varigated technique! ( I also tried it on sheer ribbon...that did NOT work! LOL!)
I happen to like repeated challenges... I don't always get them done. Or some are so fun that I would love to do them again. Or some are so hard that I need to do them again! haha...any way that you look at it...we are creating and using our supplies. I am no horder (mostly). haha
This is a great challenge!! I have to find time to be creative somehow - new puppy doesn't understand, yet, that I need time to stamp... I'm definitely going to try for this one today!! Thanks again!

Oh good! Because I think we're going to have to start through the cycle again.
I don't think there's a problem with repeats either - not when they're over a long cycle. It's always possible to come up with a different twist on using something second time round.
Variegated - have to think about that. I have some gorgeous variegated silk embroidery threads, but not sure I have the time to create something using them. I'll have to have a look through my papers and see if there's any inspiration there. Thanks, Julia .
Julia, thanks for a terrific challenge and it looks like quite a challenge. LOL
I can't play today as I have to help Aunt Kay pack her stuff, she is moving into a senior's facility. She is a wonder woman. At 93 years young she's still living in her own home but now she is almost totally blind and can no long cope without the fear of being injured.
I'll see you all tomorrow.
Not sure if this really counts or not but it was definitely inspired by this challenge if nothing else, my colors are more of a rainbow than variegated, I think?? Fun challenge though--as always.
I bought this variegated yarn with matching paper in May or June and have been waiting to do a scrapbook page. Your challenge was perfect, Julia! Thanks for the push!
Here's mine Julia, thanks for another great challenge. Don't mind repeats at all I'm sure there are many I haven't done yet. WT231

My sister is visiting this week and next, so I haven't had a whole lot of free time to do the challenges this week. I did have a little time before we set out this morning. Here is my VariegatedFriendship.
I scored today! I began working on this card last night as I love the varigated colors in this new DP, so I'll submit this for the challenge. Thanks, Julia.

Hate you for a challenge!?? Nevah!! A challenge is to stretch one's imagination and learn new things. Without a challenge, I'd be making the same ho-hum cards every day! Thanks for another good one Julia!!
Here's my card
Okay Julia: Here's my unmitigated disaster! I'm not even sure I can spell variegated and that should have been my first hint as to how this card would turn out! very weird variegated by #1volunteer at Splitcoaststampers Oh well, used some variegated ricrac that I'd been hoarding so all is not lost! LOL
