I say "Abruptly August" because I can't believe how fast this summer and year are going! I'm back from vacation and so much has happened.
This will be my last Variety challenge as hostess. I was selected to join the Design Team on Scrap Attack Scrapbooking and there is no way I can be active on both sites. It's been wonderful getting to know each of you and thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing my challenges the past 2 years! If you missed any, please feel free to go back and do them at any time.
If you are interested in joining the SBCT and being the Scrapbook Variety Hostess (or have an idea for a different challenge) or know someone that might be interested, I encourage you to contact Sally a.k.a Salster.
Another fun month of crazy (and some not so crazy) holidays to choose from. Below is your list of holidays. Your challenge is use a holiday as a layout prompt - your picture does not need to be taken on the day, you don't have to use the holiday anywhere on your page - but you may of course.

thanks Joyce Ann! I'm not sure how often I'll get back over here. We have a crop coming up in a couple weeks so I'm working on my assignments today, then of course the monthly DT layouts, plus being active on the board. Somewhere in there I suppose I'll need to do laundry, housework and oh yes feed DH and Katie. :-D:-D:-D In other words, I just don't know yet.

First...CONGRATS PEGGY! That is so awesome and I'm so excited for you! you are such a wonderful talent so I'm not surprised.
Second, I am going to miss checking out your unique and fun challenges. You always came up with some wonderful ideas. I only wish I was able to play along better but I do plan on going back and doing some once i get my scrappin mojo back(it's been gone for far to long)

The new DT is awesome and I'm having fun getting ready for our first "reveal" and the crop coming up. come an join us.
Something to note, there are not only SB challenges but also a few card challenges. No judging, the prizes are the luck of the draw. So, don't feel intimidated, come an play. ;)

Well...the pull of digi is just too strong to resist. I've made another page for this month and it will be in honor of Aug 1 Friendship Day. DGS seems to make friends wherever he goes!
