Clean and Simple Favorites for Week Ending August 2, 2009
It's amazing how great the gallery was this week. A huge thanks to all who posted CAS cards and all who commented on them. Isn't it wonderful how much CAS inspiration is out there!
For newcomers to this thread, I invite you to post links to your favorite clean and simple cards from this past week's gallery. Clean and simple cards often get lost in the gallery, so remember to use the CAS acronym as a keyword when you upload your cards so people can find them easily when they search. And don't forget, there is another weekly favorites thread where you can post any and all sorts of favorites, not just CAS.
On to my favorites...and there are many!
hskelly's medallion card totally inspired me, as did her OLC for a color challenge
xiunyuki made a lovely birdhouse card with such crisp and pretty lines
jellybean74 made a card that totally blew me over with its cuteness and CAS-ness
CAKath posted a sparkly plum card that is so pretty and perfect
LaLatty made a soft sympathy card with one of my favorite SU sets ever
momtoggk posted a series of variations on this card, all of which were wonderful, but this was my favorite
Heather T totally blew me away on her blog this week with these three brayered cards and tips for duplicating the look. One. Two. Three. OH. MY. Gosh!
k prakken made a positively stunning brown, orange and white birthday card
CuttersCallous made a fabulously high-impact card with very few--but perfect--elements
Heather T was on a roll this week and posted this Andy Warhol-inspired OLC with leaves that gave me so many ideas for my own leaf-stamp hoard
cindybstampin made a glittery wedding card that made my jaw drop
raqode7 used a classic and clean OLC layout to make a stunning Christmas card with a perfect pop of color! She made a pocket silhouette card that is totally cool, too!
kstamper jumped back into stamping after a bit of a break with this FAB heart card and a daisy silhouette card...glad you're back, Karen!
StampGroover's ode to Audrey card totally dazzled me with its CAS nostalgia
slschaf771 posted a totally cute and perky card using Happy Together!
sarasowda posted a bracketed butterfly OLC that's just wonderful
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Susan for choosing my card for one of your Favs. I am so honored to be in such great company. I'll be walking on air the rest of the week.

Thank you so much Miss Boo for mentioning my card Peaceful CAS this week. It feels good to be noticed. I am constantly amazed and inspired by the cards on SCS. Thanks also to Karen for notifying me.

LateBlossom, first, thanks for the time you put in to maintain this weekly favs list. I get to see and comment on things I would miss. Second, I truly appreciate your comment on my sparkly plum card. Makes my day!
WOW ladies, I have been so missing out, I had no idea that this thread was even out here. I'm pretty excited to see that my name is mentioned twice. Thank you, I consider that to be quit an honor!
