I know it's not even Christmas yet, but I'm planning ahead.....(organizer that I am!).
Check out the link below to sign up for the 2006 Christmas Card Challenge--you don't have to start now, just sign up and have a goal of stress-free Christmas cards for next year!!
OK, I solemnly swear that I will take part in this challenge and actually KEEP doing the work so I don't go through THIS again next year!!! Sign me up, baby!
This one must be meant for me...am still working on this year's and husband thinks I should shoot for mailing them as Easter cards :p Count me in for 10 per month, January through November!
Wow!! It's only 12/13 and we're up to 49 participants for NEXT year's Christmas Card Challenge!!! The more, the merrier---go ahead & sign up to reduce your stress next year---you'll be so happy you did (I know I was!!!).
Christmas 2005 is over, all the presents unwrapped.......is it time to start thinking about 2006???
We're up to 82 participants as of this morning---I think I have everything updated from the weekend. The list on the original post (see link below) should have all the info. If not, please let me know (it's been a little crazy!).
So far, we already have 4 people done for January!! Wow! I'm hoping to attempt January sometime this week while I'm off work---but first, stamp camp projects are calling my name. Hopefully, I will get the email list built this week as well so if I don't have your email address yet (noted by ** on the original post), please PM me as soon as possible.
If you haven't joined yet---come on & get in on the "fun" and save yourself some stress in 2006!
I am definitely signing up for this one as I never completed mine for this year. In fact I am making one today for my mum to take to relatives for this year. So count me in!!!!
Sign me up. I think. I need a gentle push. This year I sent out store bought cards. I figured it was better than no cards at all. I just could not get motivated, or even decide on a card to do.
WOW! We are up to 140 people in this challenge and it grows each week!!! So far, there are 40 people finished for January (NOT including myself or Linda!! We need to get on that!)----GREAT JOB! I'll be sending out an email this weekend to everyone with the updated spreadsheet so you can check to make sure I have you down if you're finished.
I've also updated the original post with names and such. If you still have the ** by your name----please send me your email addy so I can add you to the mailing list.
Thanks again to all those who have sent in prizes (I received 2 yesterday but need to update those.....haven't had a chance to open them yet!)---you guys are GENEROUS!
Someone made the suggestion to have a separate thread to just have general discussion about ideas and such. I started one in the Christmas Challenge folder-- Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Wow!! You guys are awesome!!!!!! I've been a little out of touch for awhile but you've kept on chugging on those Christmas Cards!! I can't believe it's July already.......where has the time gone?!?!?!?
Congrats to dpierstamper for being the first one done for July IN July!!! If you send me your mailing address, I'll get the prize out to you.
And a big congrats to stace---you were randomly chosen as the June winner!!! Woo Hoo! Send me your mailing address and your prize basket will be on its way!!!
I've been busily working on a once-a-year event (airshow) that was just held so I'm back in the stamping business now. Hopefully I'll be getting an email message out to everyone with an updated spreadsheet in the next few days. Sorry I've been hiding out.......
We're on the downhill slide now so keep those cards coming!!!! :p
I hope everyone has had a good time with this challenge and enjoyed getting their Christmas Cards done early.......we can all use LESS stress come Christmas!!!
Now's the time to start thinking about 2007 and if you would like to coordinate the challenge. I've had lots of fun doing this, seeing everyone's entries and playing Prize Patrol!!! However, it's someone else's turn and I know there's at least ONE of you that would enjoy handing out stamping supplies!!!
Please let me know if you are interested and I can let you know what all is involved. It's really easy----honest! It would be great to keep this going another year.
......it's almost the end of October and we don't have too many folks done with their Christmas cards!!!! There's only one more month to go so don't stop now!
Be sure and get your cards done and post by Wednesday to get in on this month's monthly prize.
Come on ladies---I know you can do it!!!
Check out this thread for a November update---please see the spreadsheet on my ltest post to make sure I have you down for all the months you finished.
