WIsh RAK is a bit different from the RAK threads here in the swap forum. You have to be a member of the RAK group. TO request to join, click on your user name in the top right corner where it says,"Welcome, babsqt". This will take you to your user control panel. Then on the left hand side towards the bottom, click on "Group Memberships". Once there, click on "Join Group" for the RAK user group. Once approved, you'll be able to find the WISK RAK forum. HTH!

I got the prettiest card from Jen welcoming me to the RAK group, but when I go to my "profile" it's not listed under My Groups...just the join info.
What am I doing wrong?

Can you see the forum all the way down almost at the bottom of the forums list? It shoud be between the Other Stuff and Site Suggestions & Feedback. If not, you may try logging out of SCS and logging back in.
We have nothing to do with the RAK user group. This thread is really regarding the RAK swaps that go on in the Swaps/Everything Else forum. __________________

I don't know if I am asking in the correct place but i will explain what I am wishing to do and then if someone can please HELP me or direct me to where I should post, it would be very much appreciated!!!
I have no PENNY BLACK stamps and would love to be able to get some stamped images sent to me. I am willing to stamp BELLA images in exchange. Would I join the RAK group or should I be doing an actual swap???
THANK YOU in advance for anyone who helps me with this matter. With the economy decline and the lost of my hubby's job and my hours being cut, purchasing stamps is just not in the budget at the moment, so any stamped images would be sooooo appreciated. Thank you.

You could do it both ways! If you joined the RAK group, you'd be able to go more one-on-one. You look up if people want Bellas and you'd stamp it for them. Then you'd put up your wish and then someone would grant your wish (hopefully!).
OR you can host a swap. Maybe host a Penny Black image swap. You'd be the hostess and would get the +1. You wouldn't have to stamp anything - you'd just host. __________________

If I hosted a swap, I would haven't to stamp anything? Wow, never heard of that!!! Maybe I will try it both ways and hopefully get the best of two worlds!!!! Thank you so much! |

I have a question... as I would like to get more information on RAK's. My question is similar to post # 11 from Daisygirl74. I would like to join an image RAK and would be willing to send out stamped images to those in need of what I have.. but how do you know what your options are if you have to be a member to see the option that are out there?
Does that make sense? and what if the person who has what I am looking for, does not want anything I have?

You can see all the threads in the swap forms. You can't post in them unless you join the swap group. Check out the Products & Images Swap Forum and see if there is something out there you are looking for. I know there is at least one where you grant someone's wish for images and then you post what you are wishing for. __________________
