First I want to say a big woot woot to everyone who stepped outside of their comfort zone for last weeks challenge it was one of the most amazing galleries Ive seen in a long time. I loved every one.
This weeks inspiration challenge was suggested by Princessheather she found us pages and pages of inspiration at Posters.com.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many choices, I have uploaded three of my favorites so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. For the rest of you I take no responsibility if you get lost there for hours. Just remember to link us up to the poster from Posters.com that inspired you.
Use the keyword: IC187 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
here is a quick one....(well, not so quick.....was playing earlier tonight and this one went with one of the inspiration pieces........just to be honest....)
Here is my card! Now I can sleep easy knowing I'm finished with the challange ;) and hoping the fireworks don't keep me up all night! My boys have already been out blowing stuff up!:o So I stayed in and made a girl cardIC187 celebrate girl rule by CareBear2010 at Splitcoaststampers
Love, love the inspiration! I just may have to do this one... but in the morning!! But do I find a poster I like now and sleep on it or do I just wait until morning.... oh the burning question.
Thanks for looking and have a great weekend everyone!

Man, I usually love my own card for this challenge but not this time...not so much anyway. This one is really outside the box for me, a little too far outside the box and it's too late to scrap it and make another, so for what it's worth, here it is:
The link to my inspiration is in my gallery. There's always next week, haha - sometimes you love what you make, and sometimes you don't. Happy 4th to everyone!

Thanks for a great challenge!!

Another great site, Stef. Thanks to Princessheather for finding it. After stopping briefly at the Johnny Depp and Twilight posters, I decided to be more serious. Besides, I wanted to use my new Waterlily stamps. Here's my card -- Waterlilies in Markers and Chalks, based on this Monet poster -- Water Lilies. I concentrated on the lower right hand corner of the poster.
