Jen, Great Challenge!!! I have had the new circle background stamp for several weeks now but have not cut it out as I have been so stuck in the Christmas card mode. Now I have a great reason to get it out and get busy with it. Thanks for all the wonderful challenges!
Well, this is really going to be a challenge for me, because this is sooo NOT my style. Here's one I did for a challenge a couple of weeks ago. Probably doesn't meet all the criteria, but it's a start. circles card
I'll have to see what I can come up with. Thanks, Jen, for making me think outside my box.

Kittie -
You better watch out, that On the Spot bg stamp is ADDICTIVE! I used it on a bunch of my Christmas cards... and now I want to us it on EVERYTHING!
Here's my first one. (I'm making only birthday cards right now for my grandma's Christmas gift. So, I have an excuse to stamp today and tomorrow and catch up on some challenges I've been missing out on! Yeah!)
Yay! Used this challenge to design my ds's 1st birthday invites. I really needed to get that done...thanks for the inspiration. This was a fun one...thought it would be difficult because I don't have any circle punches, or circle backgrounds...had to be creative.
Here's my second one. I didn't notice until I uploaded that I cheated a little. I have 3 things from the 2nd category. Oops.
I had a hard time getting a good picture of this. I combined it with WT40. The BG is with VersaMark and stamped with Sweet & Sassy and Little Pieces. This one is in bashful blue and uses the flowers. I also made one in pretty in pink using strawberries and one in pale plum using the butterflies (not enough circles to link it here.. didn't have the right color of brads!).
I hope I did the requirements right, my circles aren't from a stamp set but they are my circles set! I went Hero Arts on this image except for the Canvas background. Did I cheat with that? I have such a hard time keeping things simple, I want to use backgrounds on everything now. I get more tomorrow for our family gift exchange so it'll be even harder not to use them.

I finally got a chance to sit down and stamp. Instead of a full-size background stamp, I used beyond the basics. I sponged the edges of the circles & glued clear buttons on top of the images. Here's my circles
I really had a hard time w/this week's challenge because I do not like just circles very much I guess. You cannot see the little pieces very well as I put ce on them and then sprinkled dazzling diamonds over the ce...
This was a fun challenge. Thanks so much Jen. I got out my new On the Spot BG stamp and cut it out for this. This is the first non Christmas card I've made in quite a while.
I just finished my card!!! I am very happy with the way it turned out!!! I am going to have to start doing more challenges. Really makes you think outside of the box!!!
This was fun! Now I really like my Sweet & Sassy stamp set! Thanks for the challenge! I only wish my picture came out better....it was the best I could do! :???:
I have finally did another one for this challenge, it was in the mind but just never materialized after Christmas. If I do more of these I'll maybe change the stitching over the circles, not crazy about that. Here's my card
Regarding the first card I did for this challenge:
Trudee and Jen- as for the question on cutting the circles, it helps to have a sticker as a guide and good sharp scissors, I didn't care for the SU ones we use for mounting the stamps for this.
I didn’t get it right the very first one and if you look close they aren’t exactly perfect. Oh, it’s best to take the rubber off the foam when cutting and then replace it and trim.
My SIL and another friend save their rubber for me to create with and I have a supply that needs to be put to good use here soon.
and Jen, that's Weathered that I got for Christmas and still have French Scprit coming that I bought for myself.

Stickers! So that's how you do it! Thanks for the tip about taking the rubber off the foam. I can't wait to try this!
