------------------------------------------- Weekly Challenge Line Up:
Very interesting sketch, I'll give it a go this weekend hopefully Last night of VBS tonight so hopefully I'll have some time to play tomorrow morning;)
Interesting sketch, Sally! lol - had to say it, ya know!
Since I have tons of vacations pics to scrap I'm sure this double layout will work beautiful! I love that it has more photos than one per page - more to my liking.

Hey Sally: Wow, you are challenging us for real this week. My printer is still causing me problems, so I haven't been able to print out photos to do any sketches. I'm chomping at the bit to do some more. In the meantime, I'll keep an eye on your sketches and the uploads. Thanks for everything!!!

This took me 2 hours just to figure out what to do I new the pic. I wanted to use but could not decide on paper and colors, and of course how to make those swirly things!!!
I really like how it turned out;) And I like stepping out to the "easy box" to try things more challanging! Thanks for the sketch, sally;)
Okay, I got my pages done yesterday but had to wait for sunlight to take a picture. I took Sally's advice and tweaked the sketch. I mean, really tweaked it. I didn't have many pictures to add, but wanted to add journaling blocks instead, so this is how I interpreted the sketch. It's very different, but you will notice the wide band in the middle of the pages and the wavy bands on both sides, like the original sketch.

Yeah! I am really excited about this two-page spread. As I was selecting DS paper, I noticed the white circles and they inspired me to change the sketch a little (I hope that is OK). Instead of the curved big pieces of background color, I used large circle rings to crate the "curves" in my background. OK - I also had to adjust some of the picture sizes as well.
