DGC029 SYTYCD 5/19-26/09
Well I have been wondering around out in cyberspace and I found the DigiscraoAddicts web site-interestingly enough they are having a designer challenge-so it started with 60 or more designing kits FOR FREE!!!! This is the 3rd week and the inspiration for this week-The Beatles!!!!!
So my challenge for you for this week and next is to pick up a freebie kit or two and scrap a page a week using a different kit!!! so this week from week 3 and next week from week 4

Another super challenge Valerie. I have had a little time to download some papers and kits. Maybe this weekend I can find the time to do something with them. ;) I did find some really great stitchs on this site, and free, I like free, lol. They are on this page.

That is an amazing page-love, all this and they should start uploading more kits tomorrow!! and they will only continue to get better and better! Love Flergs-she is at ScrapbookGraphics and she does a lot of theme-like Twilight and Industrial and stuff-great for boy/men pages!

Oh dear, I am a little dense sometimes (I was born a blonde, lol). I see the inspiration this week is the Beatles. Showing my age I guess but I never was a big fan of The Beatles. I do really like the DigiScrapAddicts site tho and used a paper and some embellisments from two kits I have downloaded. The corner design I did myself using some brushes I have. Made up a quick page to have on hand for DGD's birthday pic. Here is the link to it, tfl. Thanks again for giving us that website Valerie, the free kits are super. The super part is they are free to download!

Here is my page for the past week's challenge. My impression was that we were just to use a kit, the page itself didn't have to be about the Beatles--hope I'm right. Anyway, here's my dps using one of the amazing freebie kits on digiscrapaddicts.com. Valerie--I owe you BIG TIME for pointing me to this site!!! I love all the awesome freebie kits.

Here's my second layout for this challenge. I tried my hand at a two-page lo this time and I think it turned out pretty well. I used the kit Arbor Day by Faith and have plans for some of the other amazing kits from this week that I've already downloaded!
