font cd?
I'd like to know what people think of this cd. Are the fonts the same as what is found on all the stamp sets SU offers that have words? Or are they different? I'm tempted to buy this.

I have the 2nd font CD, and I love it! Now I want the first one. It was super easy to install, and I love the fonts.
I know there are sites where you can download free fonts, but we have had tons of virus related issues, and my husband has banned any shareware sites for ANYTHING.
So, yes, I do recommend this CD!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE mine! I use it all time! I thought it would be difficult at first, then I got one and now I can't use it enough for journaling in my scrapbooks. I don't use it on cards....yet. But my sister does. I have no idea about it matching fonts used in the catty for stamps. I just love it!

Oh yeah, I have the second and just ordered the first! I like the first better, but got the second for a different reason.

I think the first is better for funky things and the second is better for journaling or things you need to be able to read more than just a few words.

I don't scrapbook at all, but I use mine for cards. I print poems and sayings to put inside, and also print sentiments to punch out tags for the front of my cards.
I just got done helping some friends make about a million (well it seemed like it) tags for Snowman Soup, using the CD fonts. They turned out so cute.
So, yes, it is a great value, and I can't believe I waited as long as I did to get it....now, I need to get Volume 1!

I have the 2nd one also. I use it for so many things. I use it on all of my SU flyers and I have started using it on flyers I make for work. I really enjoy it. I am going to order the 1st one in my next workshop order. I really hope there is a 3rd disk in the new catty in July. Dawn

I have a CRAZY question...When you use it for your scrapbooks what paper do you print on and is the ink photo safe......will the words I write last forever or will they fade with time?

Hmm...I have no idea. I don't really care either, as long as it stays long enough for me to read it in my lifetime, lol! I print on SU vellum or SU cardstock. It's not like I am going to leave my albums out in the sun or something!

I personally feel that the CD's are majorly overpriced, for the amount of fonts you get. One CD could hold both sets of fonts and then some, even if it's the smallest disk space you can by. Don't get me wrong, I love my Font disk but I used my free $15.00 one time in order to get it and that is the only way I would get the other one.
Also I would like to use the fonts for emails and such but some of them are so small that you have to increase the size to 20 of over inorder to see the full image.

agreed, Michelle. I used free credit for #1 and traded someone a smaller retired stamp set for #2. I generally use font sizes 10 or 11 so putting things at 20 or 24 seems huge to me, but that's what it takes to be able to see the letters.
