Happy Monday! I hope that you all had a wonderful Easter Sunday.
Our inspiration for this week came from the scrapbook kits I received in the mail last week. I noticed that both kits had tree-themed items in them. So, I decided to dig through my stash and see if I had any other tree-themed supplies and sure enough I did.
Since it is officially spring-time why not plant a tree on your page? Go through your supply stash and find any tree items that you have. It could be patterned paper, die-cuts, chipboard trees etc. If you don't happen to have any tree items to use, you can make your own trees by sketching them on your paper, cutting them out and then using whatever you like for your leaves. You could use your circle punch, scalloped circle punch, buttons, etc.
I have two samples for you these week. And, on one of them I made my own tree!
Now it's your turn. Be sure to come back here and post a reply with a link to your challenge layout.

Oh I can totally do this one! I have recently become obsessed with trees for my pages and I just got my Maya road chipboard trees in the mail on Friday. I've been wanting to scrap something with them and haven't had a chance. Great challenge!
Fun challenge Jenn! I'll have to dig through my stash and see what I can come up with. Hmm... My October 2007 kit from Club Scrap may just work for this!
I've got a couple of pics from when our gorgeous Bradford Pear tree was in bloom and then split apart in a windstorm and we had to replace it with another tree. This would be a good time to do that...just have to print out the pics.
I have seen this used a lot and haven't tried it yet. Great idea for challenge.

I know that I have already posted this page to my gallery, but I couldn't resist adding it to this challenge. I really like the idea of including a family tree into my DS's scrapbooks and I thought it would add some more inspiration to this awesome challenge.
I know that I have pictures of my boys climbing trees....boys are always climbing! I'll have to dig them up and put them on a page. Thanks for the inspiration!
Patti- you made good use of that paper I sent you. I forgot I had sent you that, to be honest!
anats- your layout is incredible. I just love your embellies and the way you framed your photos.
Wendy- another spectacular page with that adorable baby. I think I have some of those leaves you used on your page and I think you sent them to me. I totally forgot about them when I was doing my page.
Anavon- thanks for linking up your family tree page. That really is super cute.
Hope to see something soon from the rest of you!;)
Two more for this challenge. Jenn I am having so much fun with the package you sent me it is stuff I would have picked out for myself! Thank you again! Green Tree by princessp1971 at Splitcoaststampers

You certainly welcome! I'm glad you are getting some use out of the goodies. I can see you are still using your button borders and distressing your paper! Glad you like those techniques. I enjoyed these pages. ;)
This is a digital layout but it has trees, does that count? Pictures were captured from a web cam in Glacier National Park. I enjoy looking at the National Park websites with web cams.
