What is CAS? The idea of CAS is to keep it Clean and Simple.
Definition:A clean and simple card has limited layers and sometimes just a card base. It leaves a lot of "open space". It uses little or no embellishments. Any techniques should be the old standard everyday kind like sponging, distressing and piercing. Limit the number of tools you use. Any colored images should be small and quick. Don't go overboard on tons of punches and embossing. CAS cards should be easy and quick.
Keyword: CAS10
This week we are making monochromatic cards. Please only use white or cream/vanilla as a neutral.
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Monochromatic is a tough challenge for me because I like to use lots of colors. But I found a scheme that worked for me and ended up making two cards. Here they are.
Great idea! While I may get one done today, I seem to not be able to load until later in the week. (I spend a lot of time with my grandkids nowdays!) Until then...here are two from my gallery that fit the bill nicely... Hybrid Rose and Froggy Birthday.
Until later then...
Hey....I have a question....I thought Monochromatic was just shades of the same color? Just wanted to do it right.....thanks
As I understand it, monochromatic is shades of one color...as in shades of green, shades of gold, shades of blue etc. Many SU colors, when put together are great monochromatic pairs. I like saffron and mustard, or celery and artichoke, for example. More ideas like that are on the "dynamic duos" section of the SU color wheel.
One just has to resist using a different color...such as green leaves on a pink card.
