I love this sketch. (Thanks for the photo sizes.) I"ll have to wait until April 1 or shortly thereafter...I need the new SU! Circle Scissors. Then I'm good to go. This DPS would be GREAT for some more ICE STORM photos. ;)
At the rate I'm a goin' scrappin' the ice storm photos...there'll be ICE in the summer.

Oh yay for you! I got mine a week ago and just started paying with it!
Can we cut a larger circle from the circle scissors than we can from the Coluzzle?
I've never owned the Coluzzle, but my sis has one...seems like it's largest was pretty small. The circle scissor can do circles and rings, and has a pencil attachment for drawing...love that!
The largest circle isn't as big as I would like, but I do believe it's bigger than the Coluzzle!

I want something that makes a BIG 12 x 12 circle ring.

Thanks so much for the great sketch. I've been on a scrapping streak (very rare for me), and this was perfect to keep me going for one more layout. I've never posted on SC before, so I hope I did it correctly!
ps. I traced plates from my cupboard to make my circles--I know, old fashioned. I don't think the Circle Scissor makes big enough circles.

I agree! I use plates, bowls, platters, whatever I can find! ;)
The biggest circle you can cut with the Circle Scissor Plus is 6 inch wide. Bigger than the Coluzzle's largest circle, but still not that big. (At least on the template sold by SU! Coluzzle does make another circle template that has large ones on it.) That's why my circles are smaller than the ones on Sally's sketch.

Sally, Really love the sketch challenge. Thanks for taking the time to come up with these ideas and post them for us. It has motiviated me to get more s/b done as I've veered more off into cards as of late and am behind in my s/b layouts. Here is my 2-page layout submission for your sketch/challenge:
