Default Altered Paper Clip Questions

i see beautiful altered paper clips in the gallery. my questions are-
how do you attach the paper to the clip? is there a special glue?
can i alter any size clip or is there a size that is sort of 'universal'?
thanks for any help you can offer LOL i am so lost

It's pretty simple actually. You use the raised glue dots! If you are making a circle shaped one, you would cut 1 circle for the back-probably a plain one, and then the 2nd circle would be your decorated one. You'll then sandwich the two backs of the circles with the paperclip in between. So- Back circle, raised glue dot, paperclip (make sure it touches the glue dot), top circle and there you have it! HTH

Glue dots did not work well for me so I used E600 glue and they seem to stay together better and not get stuck to anything else like the glue dots.

Default paperclip glue...

I like to use Hi-tack 'very sticky' glue from Impex i wonder if it is similar to Aileen's in the USA? dries clear & flexible and it sticks almost anything to almost anything including metal and wood, paper card, trimmings, china, poystyrene, even glass. it can be used to heat bond fabrics and can even be hand washed!

Make sure you use the pop up glue dots not the mini ones. I push the paper clip down into it then put the top layer on.
