Please post your favorite Clean and Simple cards from this past week's gallery!
Here are a few of mine.
MintinCA made this great black and white card alliohran posted this lovely hearts card kstamper also posted a simple hearts card
also by kstamper is this case of one of my cards that I like WAY better than mine! This proves that caseing is a wonderful creative thing to do! krystie lee is a queen of CAS, and this gorgeous OLC is a great example of her talent!
here's another of krystie lee's stunning cards, using Eastern Blooms
jazzytobi came up with this scrumptiously simple butterfly card...gotta case this! Stampin' Annie made this pile it on card that is wonderfully simple yet ever so pretty! Love all that white space!
Is there an actual CAS gallery somewhere? If so, I cannot find it and would love to know how to get there.
Right now I just do a search on CAS and see what comes up but if there is a place I can bookmark that would be great.
TIA!
Not that I know of. The keyword search is the only easy way I know to get a bunch of CAS cards. This requires that people know about and remember to put CAS in the keyword line when they upload. Not everyone does this, so we miss a lot this way...that's one reason for starting this thread, actually.
I do bookmark galleries of stampers that do CAS and check them periodically. I also put blogs of CAS stampers in my Google Reader.
Wow. Thank you so much LateBlossom and tchk for mentioning my cards. I do read the other favorites thread and have for quite a while, but I never got this kind of love over there. I love that you started this thread. Not just for my recognition, but someone (sorry if you're here, I'm horrid with names so I forgot who you are) mentioned in the other favorites that thanks to this thread, she's found her style. That's really saying something!

I received a PM about a possible idea. How much interest do you think there would be for a weekly CAS challenge? One week may be a color challenge, the next may be an inspiration challenge, and maybe a sketch and a super easy, quick technique on some weeks.
What do you think?

I would definitely be interested! Maybe we can get even more to join our ranks!!! Let me know if I can help in any way!

These are my top 14 favorites for the week. They are broken into two categories. First, I picked one favorite from each day either from the General or CAS gallery. And here they are:

I am loving this thread more than ever! So many wonderful cards from so many great stampers!
I had never been to the "regular" favorites thread, so I decided to stop over there and see what all the fuss was about. The first card I opened to look at had 10 (TEN!!!!) layers of cardstock- plus stamping and embellishments! I looked through a bunch of them and most of them had things done that I would never think of, embellishments that I don't own, and just so much going on that it would take me days to try to make a card like that!
No wonder so many don't go near there- it can be pretty discouraging and intimidating. Most of the cards there are very beautiful, but I saw some that reminded me of a certain scrapbooking style that I don't like- when the page is more important than the pictures. Cards are still, I think, about sending a message, aren't they?
Thanks for starting this thread! I usually never make posts...I'm just an avid reader. Anyway, I'm totally drawn to the CAS style of stamping, although I can't do it myself, I love looking at it for inspiration!
