I posted early so that I don't have to get up early tomorrow... before 5AM! (And my new sample card was approved earlier than I had expected!)
Please remember to put LSC36 in the keyword box when you upload!
Theme: snowmen
Limit: color
I love snowmen. I collect them and I love to stamp them. Have you noticed that most cards with snowmen use the color blue? This week's challenge is to stamp one or more snowmen onto a card, tag, or scrapbook page without using any shades of blue. It can be done! I have some samples of my own and some wonderful samples I found in my favorites gallery. Don't have any snowman stamps? How about using circle punches or tags? Or square punches or tags... Who said snowmen must be round? There's a great square snowman sample below.
Stamps: snowman/snowmen plus any other stamps you may wish to add
cardstock/ink: any colors except shades of blue
embellishments: any (just not blue!)
techniques: any
Hope the following samples inspire you. Have fun creating! I can't wait to see what you come up with!
Jen, I love snowmen too. I hope you don't mind Jen that I am going to put a few links here to cards that I have already done over the last few weeks and that have "no blue". Some of these cards were cased from the wonderful artists on this site. I have gotten tons of wonderful ideas here. I can't wait to play today and do a couple more.
I'm home from work today with an ever lingering viral bug...guess I need to do some stamp therapy....I'll post when I'm done ;-)
...OK here's my attempt...I really do need a scanner and personal tutoring from you gals!Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
First of all I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Jen for taking over the Limited Supply Challenge as of today. Thank you so much! I know you have a ton of wonderful ideas!
I would also like to thank everyone who has been a guest host/hostess over the past few months. It has been so fun to see what everyone would come up with.
Limited Supply Challenge got started as a fluke when I had a friend who purchased some stuff from me and I wanted to be sure she would use them so I asked for help in coming up with samples using her "Limited Supplies". I offered a little prize and gots tons of wonderful entires. What fun to have it turn into a weekely feature here at SCS. Thanks Jen for keeping the fun and inspiration going!
Here's a card I made a few weeks ago that fits this week's challenge - there's no blue there!
Here's some from last Christmas...funny thing, I looked through my gallery, and I have NO snowmen cards that use blue! lol. The first two are by my DH, and the 3rd one is by me...it was one of my first cards ever, so don't be to harsh! ;)
HERE is my last one for today. I think I am going to send this to Lisa Zappa - who should be RAK-ed for all the hard work she put into the raffle! This one is celery and eggplant.....
EVERYONE - RAK LISA ZAPPA!!! Yeah baby, she is a rock stah!
Here is my card for the limited supple challenge and the card that inspired me which also meets the challenge criteria.... no blue,,,, and using snowmen

Okay Jen I got one done and no blue at all! I sort of thought that was a weird challenge until I looked in a magazine today and saw six of seven snowmen featured with blue. Then a light bulb went off and I knew Jen knew just what she was talking about. I guess I had never noticed before.
I posted this one last weekend. I will try to get another one made this week to fit this challenge but for now, here is this one. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Oops.. I posted on your card that this fit into the challenge and then I find a link. Oops. (You forgot to put LSC36 in the keyword box. So, glad for links!) Love the homemade stamps!
Here is my entry. I love Snowmen and Flaky Friends has become a favorite of mine over the last few weeks. This is a layout that I've done a few times but decided to add some additional friends to the grouping. Thanks for a fun challenge Jen.
Just got back from vacation and had to stamp. this is my no blue snowman. I wqanted him to blush so I used Blush Blossom. It doesn't show up well on this pic but it does look like a blush in person. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
